Het werd tijd dat ik me voorstelde. Mede door de informatie op dit forum durfde ik vorig jaar m'n eerste W124 aan te schaffen! Het werd een prachtige 230E uit 1992. Eigenlijk alle auto die ik ooit nodig zou hebben én z'n leven in Spanje gewoond, dus geen enkel spatje roest. Nergens. Wel een schuifdak, airco en automaat, dus volop genieten van de luxe!

Maar ja, totdat er een zescilinder is geweest kan ik niet rusten, dus toevallig viel m'n oog op een advertentie en met een beetje geluk staat die over twee weken voor de deur! E280 uit begin '94, 5-versnellingsautomaat. Alleen geen schuifdak. Daar zal ik wel mee leren leven, want wát een verschil is het tussen die twee. Merkbaar een stap vooruit in volwassenheid en comfort.

Afijn, ik heb hier veel kennis op kunnen doen en hoop ooit ook zelf terug te kunnen gaan geven, ook al voel ik me nog een groentje!
