Aan de buitenkant van die bocht tussen de invoegstrook en snelweg ligt een stukje gras dat uitloopt in een punt waar de wegen bij elkaar komen.
Dat stukje gras is niet als een gazonnetje, dat zit vol met hobbels en kuilen.
Omdat zijn snelheid veel te hoog was moest hij over dat gras rijden en daar ging het mis.

Inderdaad, gas geven is niet moeilijk maar veilig gas geven wel.

Sommige motorijders zouden eens een kijkje moeten nemen in een revalidatiecentrum om ze wat inzicht bij te brengen over de gevolgen van hun stommiteiten.
Gas geven is geen kunst, veilig aan het verkeer deelnemen en daarmee ook het welzijn van andere weggebruikers respecteren wel.

Ondanks dat het zijn verdiende loon was en ik absoluut geen medelijden met hem had ben ik wel meteen gestopt en ben het verkeer gaan regelen zodat hij niet nog eens werd overreden.
Ondertussen werden de hulpdiensten al gebeld.
Lijkt mij niet meer als normaal.

mogelijkheden hulp te bieden aan mogelijke slachtoffers.
Dat zou voor iedere weggebruiker tot de vanzelfsprekende dingen moeten behoren.
Helaas is de dagelijkse praktijk anders.

Al vaker meegemaakt, je ziet zoiest gebeuren en de achteropkomers proberen er toch tussendoor en omheen te rijden om weer verder te rijden.
Ik zet m'n auto stil en roep toch direct de hulpdiensten in en ga kijken hoe het met de mensen gaat. Of ben ik de enigste daar in?
