In augustus 2017 plaatste ik, in het topic 'Instructieboekjes, handleidingen en brochures' (onder How-to), een prijslijst van 1-1-1992 van de toenmalige MB-dealer J. van Dijk in Rotterdam. Zo kun je je verbazen over de nieuwprijs van een W124, uiteraard in Nederlandse guldens.

De goedkoopste W124 was destijds een 200D, voor 'slechts' 75.332 gulden. Een 200E kostte 77.581 gulden, de 500E verwisselde voor 241.281 gulden van eigenaar. Astronomische bedragen, ook voor die tijd. Voor een kleine twee en halve ton kocht je een meer dan leuke woning!

Een originele aankoopfactuur van een in Nederland nieuw geleverde W124 ben ik in mijn online zoektocht nog nooit tegengekomen. Tot vandaag... in 1993 betaalde je voor een 400E met een paar leuke opties altijd nog 172.547 gulden.

Tenslotte: op dit forum al eerder geplaatst maar voor de zekerheid nog maar een keertje. Op deze Duitse site kun je uitrekenen wat jouw W124 heeft gekost. Enige nadeel: de prijs is in Duitse Marken dus je moet omrekenen naar guldens en er ook nog even de btw en BPM bij optellen ;-)
