Een paar jaar geleden wel met de W123, de diesel had er wel beetje moeite mee, maar met terugschakelen tot de 2e versnelling lukte het wel.

Binnenkort hopenlijk ook eens met de W124, de E220 zal er minder moeite mee hebben :)

Het is geweldig om met de auto zo'n bergpas op te rijden.

Mijn Benz is helaas niet uitgerust met een Tempomat, maar nu weet ik ook niet of deze de ritten met de caravan aangenamer gaat maken. Met de caravan is het toch veelal voorruit kijken en aanpassen tijdens het klimmen en dalen op de autobaan.

Ikzelf ben net terug van 3.600 kilometer België-Luxemburg-Frankrijk-Duitsland-Italië-Oostenrijk-Duitsland.

Beklimmingen: St. Gotthard in Zwitserland 2.105 meter en de Postalm am Wolfgangssee in Oostenrijk 1.900 meter. Met een 250D automaat van 1985.

]]> 2020-08-01T21:19:02+01:00 2020-08-01T21:19:02+01:00 http://www.w124club.nl/viewtopic.php?t=19259&p=156656#p156656 <![CDATA[3 weken Oostenrijk]]> Bedoeling was eigenlijk om dit jaar door Engeland te reizen maar vanwege het Corona virus besloten om naar Oostenrijk te gaan.

We zijn via Passau naar Wenen gereisd, daarna naar de Neusiedler See, vrienden bezocht in de buurt van Klagenfurt en toen via Passau weer terug. Al met al 3500 km met de Benz waarvan het merendeel met de caravan achter de auto.
Slechts een paar kleine problemen, een deur vanger RA waar de bouten van aangedraaid moesten worden, het plastic van de gordel sluiting RV stuk omdat deze tussen de deur kwam en een kapotte koplamp wisser omdat mijn zoon de koplamp schoon wou maken.

Hieronder wat foto's, de onderste 3 zijn genomen bovenop de Gerlitzen Alpe, via een maudstraat kun je daar tot 1900 meter bovenop de berg rijden.
