Ik had een van de volste s211 van NL en nu rij ik een kale S124 , ik hou er van en zit er niet mee. Oordopjes ( muziek ) in en genieten.

Tja, iedereen moet natuurlijk doen wat hij leuk vind. Daar ben ik het ook wel mee eens. Ik vind het alleen zonde als een nog echt mooie W124 in mijn ogen verprutst wordt met allerlei toeters en bellen. Het is ook een kwestie van cultuur en soort van liefhebberij die iemand heeft bij zijn W124. De één wil vooral sleutelen en allerlei zaken verbeteren of veranderen en de ander is een purist en wil dat alles precies blijft zoals het is toen een wagen de showroom nieuw verliet. Tot de laatste categorie behoor ik en ik besef dat ik op dit forum nogal in de minderheid ben wat dat betreft. Hier gaat het vooral om sleutelen, waar ik ook af en toe dankbaar gebruik van heb gemaakt overigens!

De topic-starter vroeg trouwens expliciet om een mening over het scherm in de wagen: "Meningen?". Daarom gaf ik ook even duidelijk mijn mening.

Ik heb ook een wat modernere autoradio, maar gedaan vanwege de functionality.
Ieder zijn smaak en als je je maar happy voelt in je young/old-timer.
