Eerst kon ik (met enkel de standlichten op) nog de grootlichten activeren door de combihendel naar achter te trekken (en ook 'constant aan' door de combihendel naar voor te duwen), maar na een ritje werkte dit plots ook niet meer (toen ik m'n dimlichten activeerde en merkte dat het groot licht lampje op het dashboard meteen brandde, terwijl de combihendel in de 'uit' (midden) stand stond. Ik heb de zekeringen van de grootlichten er nu uit gehaald (als ik dan terwijl m'n dimlichten branden de combihendel naar voor duw, doven de dimlichten).

Echter is er bij mijn weten geen zo'n aftermarket knop aanwezig. Is pas sinds kort dat ik dit voor heb.

Zou dit een storing zijn aan de combihendel? Kan je dit makkelijk testen zonder de hele boel te moeten uitbouwen? (Ik heb reeds een goed werkende combihendel uit een andere 124 uitgebouwd) Want het zit namelijk nogal dicht op elkaar allemaal, onder het dashboard (en het stuur zou er ook af moeten, wat me niet lukt alleen).

Las na wat google'n op een forum (benzworld) dat de boel inspuiten met WD-40 (of eigenlijk beter contactspray) mogelijks een (tijdelijke) fix zou kunnen zijn. De poster van het bericht verwees echter naar een klein afdekpaneeltje, maar zei niet specifiek welk paneeltje dit was. De plastic plaatjes waarin de aan/uit draaiknop van de buitenverlichting zit? En/of het plaatje waarin het contact zit?

Ter verduidelijking het originele bericht, helaas ook al van ruim 7 jaar geleden (iemand anders vroeg in dat topic ook welk plaatje hij bedoelde maar er kwam helaas nooit respons op)

"All you need to fix it is a small flat tip, and a can of WD-40. Use the flat tip to pop off the little cover, liberally spray the wd40 in there, work the switch back on forth several times, spray some more, work in around again. And boom, it will work. The contacts just get dirty. My high beams work fine now."

iets van Bosch en je kunt het dus met je voet indrukken en ja hoor groot licht uit en kan gewoon met de hendel groorlicht bedienen

draai ik de knop 2 standen dus normaal licht dan blijft ook gelijk het grote licht branden

Het combi relais is een rechthoekig zwart kastje ong 10cm lang 3 cm breed en 6cm hoog.

Maar persoonlijk zal ik als 1e een bij de auto behorend elektrisch schema opduikelen op het web en uitzoeken waar het relais tbv dim- en groot licht echt zit, alle relais nalopen in de auto is best wel een klusje...
