Sinds een weekje de trotse bezitter van een 320TE, met helaas een vervelende eigenschap, de motor wordt tijdens stationair draaien volgens de dashboard temperatuur meter zeer warm (110 deg) toental ca 700 toeren
Ik heb het idee dat de visco in orde is want als ik wat gas geef 1500 toeren zakt e temperatuur snel in.

Wat is de meest waarschijnlike oorzaak?
Verstopt koelsysteem?
Waterpomp verminderde opbrengst?
Thermostaat niet in orde?

Ik heb ook mn twijfels overde hoogte van het stationair toerental, maar tot de haynes binnen is weet ik niet wat het zou moeten zijn.

mijn eerste gedachte zou zijn de radiator.
kan je controleren door even te voelen aan de radiator als de motor warm is of er veel koude stukken bij zitten.
wordt hij overal goed warm zal het iets anders zijn.
kijk uit voor draaiende delen :!:

thermostaat die niet goed opent zou ook kunnen, met een slechte waterpomp lijkt me dat ie altijd te warm wordt maar kan het mis hebben. blablabla

thermostaat is nooit erg om te vervangen. vaak is dat de boosdoener. als je die vervangt kan je gelijk systeem spoelen en controleren dan is het meestal wel verholpen.

check ook even de koelven sensor kan ook nog wel is kapot gaan

De visco slaat bij een bepaalde temp in daar hoef je geen gas voor te geven.

Doet die het ook met de airco uit?

Heb in principe nu altijd airco uit (rode led aan)

Wat ik bedoel met de visco is dat blijkbaar met oplopend motortoerental er meer gekoeld wordt, denk dus door draaien van de fan, maar kan ook zijn door meer water te verpompen door koelwaterpomp zijn.

De motor wordt gegeven de vrij lage buitentemperatuur veel te warm.
De twee elektrische vinnen voor de condensor zouden moeten gaan draaien bij ongeveer 100 graden.
Kennelijk doen ze dat niet. Dan heb je dus twee problemen.

Een luie thermostaat en of een verstopte radiateur.
De thermostaat kost een paar tientjes, die zou ik onmiddelijk vervangen.
Geeft dat geen of onvoldoende verbetering dan kun je een radiateurenspecialist vragen de toestand van de radiateur te bekijken.
Niet te lang mee wachten een koppakking vervangen is geen kleine ingreep bij deze motoren.

Een gelukkig nieuwjaar allen,

Gisteren 2 eetlepels soda toegevoegd aan koelsysteem toegevoegd en een stukje gaan rijden ,na 15 km werd de motor ook tijdens het rijden (110 km/h) te heet, zo heet dat het er bij een barst in kunstofdeel radiator uitspoot. De beide electrische fans draaiden.

Ik heb toen de thermostaat uitgebouwd en het middendeel verwijderd, koelsysteem weer bijgevuld en na afkoelen motor weer naar huis gereden, de motor werd 110 graden maar stabiliseerde wel.

Inmiddels nieuwe radiator besteld, en nieuwe thermostaat gemonteerd, maar ben bang dat er toch iets met de capaciteit van de koelwaterpomp niet in orde is als dus zelfs zonder thermostaat temp tot 110 deg oploopt.

Wellicht ook maar de pomp vervangen dan is het hele koelsysteem nieuw.....

Aangezien mn haynes nog niet binnen is, staan er ergens online technische handleidingen om bijv radiator te vervangen?

Alles nog eens lezend lijken me dit geen goede berichten.
Ik denk dat je er serieus rekening mee moet houden dat de koppakking geploft is.
Te lang doormodderen met te hoge motortemperaturen is een flink risico bij deze motoren.

Wil je zekerheid over de toestand van de koppakking dan kun je bij de garage een test laten doen.
Men controleert dan of er verbrandingsresten in het koelmiddel zitten.

Bij 110 graden ploft er normaal gesproken geen enkel deel van het koelsysteem.
Bij hoge drukken veroorzaakt door een lekke koppakking kan dit echter wel.

als de koppakking vervangen moet worden kan ik denk ik maar beter even ook een koprevisie laten uitvoeren dan is alles weer fris, is het niet zo dat de klepgeleiders bij deze motoren op een gegeven moment ook wel aan vervanging toe zijn?

zal de auto volgende week eens naar MARS in ijmuiden toebrengen, eens kijken wat hij kan vinden.

Alles 1 voor 1 afwerken, en nog niet te ver vooruit lopen. Doe eerst je pomp/radiator en thermostaat maar eens.
Houd verder gewoon je olie en koelwater peil in de gaten alsook de kleur.

is de condensor voor de radiateur goed schoon. zodat er voldoende rijwind cq door de 2 vinnen genoeg lucht door geblazen wordt???

heb dat hier al met meerdere auto's gezien

vandaag de nieuwe thermostaat gemonteerd en wat blijkt de temperatuur blijft keurig op 85 graden stabiel, de radiator lekt nog wel iets, maar morgen komt de nieuwe binnen, dus geen lekke koppakking, geen defecte waterpomp e.d.

ik begrijp alleen nog niet helemaal dat na het verwijderen van het binnenwerk van de oude thermostaat de temperatuur toch opliep tot 110 graden, waarschijnlijk zorgt het onderste klepje zie laatste foto dat het koelwater door het hoofdcircuit heen gaat. wel jammer dat bij een defecte thermostaat het verwijderen ervan dus zinloos is, ik zal maar een thermostaat toevoegen aan de on board spares.........

bedankt allen voor de reacties, iedereen die de thermostaat als schuldige aanwezen gaan door voor de volgende ronde ;-)

Ook al gehad op mijn m104. In mijn geval was het de Temperatuurschakelaar (zit ergens aan de waterpomp, een 2-polige sensor)
Simpel stukje techniek, als hij warm genoeg staat geeft hij de elektriciteit door en slaan de extra ventilatoren aan.
Kan je makkelijk doormeten met de multimeter: geen verbinding tussen beide pinnen op sensor bij warme motor => kapot

Nog makkelijker: stekker los halen en even draadje tussen beide polen (op de kabel, niet de sensor).
Als enkel de sensor defect is moeten je ventilatoren aangaan eens je verbinding maakt!
