L.S. ik heb op mijn prachtige, weinig gebruikte (45000 km) MB200 uit 1993 de originele stalen velgen met 195/65R15
banden. Onlangs heb ik tweedehands vier originele lichtgewicht Mercedes Benz velgen (7 1/2 Jx16 H2 E41) gekocht en ik zou graag willen weten of deze op de W124 passen en welke banden daarop te monteren. Kan iemand mij adviseren? Bij voorbaat dank!

Wat voor onderdeelnummer staat er in je putdeksel velgen? Staat aan de binnenkant.

Ik wist niet dat het onderdeelnummer van den velgen belangerijk was om de maat van de bande te bepale? ,
Waar heje dat dan voor nodig????, de mate heje toch allemaal

Willie, ik ben gewoon nieuwsgierig welk nummer deze velgen met die maat hebben. Het lijken geen W124 velgen te zijn. Wat voor banden er omheen moeten weet ik ook niet.

Putdeksels zijn bij mijn weten alleen als 15" geleverd. Heb je misschien 8-gaats velgen gekocht? Deze zijn er in 15"en in 16". Niet alle 8-gaats of andere originele MB velgen zijn zonder meer geschikt voor de W124. Kijk de maten nog even goed na, je zegt dat de originele velgen op je auto ook 16" zijn en die zijn toch echt 15". In het instructieboekje staat ook uitgebreid welke velgen en banden onder de auto horen. Ik zou me aan de fabrieksvoorschriften houden.

Mijn excuus aan de lezers: de originele banden zijn 15 inch (dus 195/165R15) en niet 16 inch. Ik heb mijn oorspronkelijke vraag gecorrigeerd. Dank aan allen die gereageerd hebben c.q. gaan reageren!

Hallo iedereen, ik besef nu dat dit geen putdeksel velgen zijn (ze lijken er op). Het Mercedesnr is 2104011202. Weet iemand of montage van deze velgen/banden consequenties heeft voor benzineverbruik c.q. snelheid op de kilometerteller?

De juiste afrolomtrek kun je wel vinden via google. Gewoon even een bandencalculator zoeken. Dit bepaalt de afwijking.

Tja en hoger verbruik. De band is maar liefst 1 cm breder. Dus dat is wel te verwaarlozen.

Dit zijn de putdekselvelgen (officieel heten ze 15-gaats velgen) die jij nodig hebt voor jouw wagen. Als je het helemaal origineel wil houden tenminste.. Ze hebben het onderdeelnummer 1244010802. De maat is 6½ J x 15 ET 48. Banden die daar omheen gaan hebben de maat 195/65 R15. Het is wel wat lastig de originele wielbouten erbij te vinden van 70mm lang. Die worden door Mercedes niet meer nieuw geleverd. Andere bouten passen ook wel maar vullen het gat niet helemaal mooi.

Voor een W210, de opvolger van de W124. Dat zit al in het onderdeelnummer van de door jou gekochte velgen verscholen, dat begint ook met "210". Zie foto, mét jouw velgen..

Wat jammer nou. Dus aan deze velgen heb ik niks voor mijn W124?

Dat weet ik niet.. Maar als je het origineel wil dan moet je dus de velgen met nummer 1244010802 hebben Er zijn destijds op alle MB modellen putdeksels geleverd, in verschillende maten. Dus het onderdeelnummer is waar je op moet letten bij aankoop.
