Hier een berichtje van het W126club forum, wij hebben dezelfde ruitensproeiers!

En hier het bericht van pena , en voor degene die er niet bij kunnen:
Heren,

DIT KAN ONS ALLEN OVERKOMEN!!!!!!!!!

Hier wat foto's van mijn W124 maar geldt ook voor de W126.

Het gaat om de verwarmde ruitensproeiers.

En hier het probleem.

Doordat de isolatie van de verwarmingsdraden (12V kant) vaak open ligt na 25 jaar wordt dit brandgevaarlijk. En heb deze dus afgesloten.
Hoe de kabels precies lopen weet ik nog niet. Ze lopen nl. niet naar een zekering maar gaan direct het zijscherm in.

En de kabels opnieuw afbinden met nieuwe sokjes werkt dat ook niet dan?

Tuurlijk wel, heb het bij mezelf ook nog gewoon werkend, origineel en nog niet aangepast.
Alleen als je ziet dat jouw slang/kabels al op diverse plekken barsten vertoond weet je wat er kan gebeuren.

Het ging erom: Een gewaarschuwd man telt voor 2!
Toch lullig als je auto half afbrandt door iets wat je van te voren had kunnen ondervangen.
