Dag vrienden. Een vraagje. Passen de zetels van een W124 ,bouwjaar 1990-1993 in een W124 bouwjaar 1984-1989.
Alvast bedankt voor het advies.

Ja hoor, is precies hetzelfde qua bevestiging.

De vraag is of je een mooie W124 “niet origineel” wil maken.

Ben daarin uiteindelijk wel heel ver in gegaan.

Het is idd niet meer origineel maar de zetels uit de 2e en laatste serie zitten aanmerkelijk beter

Zijn die zetels vergelijkbaar met de zetels van een 190 facelift? Ik vond die namelijk minder goed dan die van m'n mopf 0 W124. Net wat te hard. Die in m'n 124 vind ik erg comfortabel (door de combinatie van de dempende veren van de zetels met de ophanging van de auto voel je amper oneffenheden in de weg (zie ook dat filmpje van Mercedes waar ze met een 124 over de 'pijnbank' rijden en het lichaam van de bestuurder geen krimp geeft van schokken op de weg). Zijn ook nog niet doorgezakt dus dat zal ook wel schelen neem ik aan.

De zetels van de eerste generatie hadden veren. Die erna enkel paardenhaar en schuim.

Dat is niet juist, hadden beide gewoon veren, zie foto.

Mocht je toch de oude willen houden ze zijn heel makkelijk op te vullen dat heb ik bij mijn vorige 230 ook gedaan en toen zaten ze weer als nieuw

Achterbank zou je helemaal gelijk in kunnen hebben, weet wel dat de pre mopf achterbank heel erg doorzakt als je er op zit en de mopf-1/2 dit niet doet.

Maar de plaatjes zijn van de voorstoelen, achterbank zit ik zelf nooit .

De pre-mopf heeft een achterbank zoals de 126, met zo van die lekkere bootveren erin. Zit wat minder vast.

We zaten inderdaad wat naast mekaar bezig

Ik heb hier nu ook voorstoelen daan van de Sportline. Die zitten echt wel goed. Zelfs na 30 jaar. Autos hebben geen goede stoelen meer zoals deze tegenwoordig.

In mijn ervaring zitten de Mopf Stoelen ook beter.

Mijn 1986 200TD zat wel redelijk goed hoor (had geloof ik ~200000 km), maar vind de E220 van 1993 toch beter zitten. Nu heeft deze laatste wel minder km en ook nog orthopedische stoelleuningen. De zitting is echter duidelijk steviger.

Vroeger in de taxi's vond ik dat ook al. Ik reed meestal in een 1986 200D met 850.000 km op de teller. Toen er een nieuwe Mopf2 200D kwam viel me op dat de stoeler veeeeel steviger en beter waren. Ik mocht helaas niet in deze auto rijden, die was voorlopig alleen voor de baas. Nu waren dit misschien ook allemaal versterkte taxi stoelen maar toch is dit verschil me bijgebleven.
