Heeft de auto lang stilgestaan of voorheen lange tijd op LPG gereden ??

auto heeft nooit op LPG gereden maar wel 4 jaar stilgestaan, daarna is er een volledig gereviseerd E500 motor ingestoken

Sommige plaatsen een nieuwe koppakking en zeggen: gereviseerd.

Als de motor echt gereviseerd is compleet dan zijn de ontstekingsdelen goed.

Maar ik wacht even de reactie af.
Is een van de makkelijkst te controleren onderdelen.
Mocht dat goed zijn dan verdenk ik ook brandstof voorziening.

En ja, E500 is allemaal wat duurder in onderhoud.

De klachten lijken ook een beetje op een defect overspanningsrelais.

Eerst maar eens zien hoe de TS reageert.
Na een complete revisie zou ik teruggaan naar de garage die de motor heeft gereviseerd.
Een complete revisie red je echt niet met 10K.

of het echt gereviseerd is weetk niet , maar waar ik m heb gekocht hebben ze wel gezegd dat t gerebiseerdbiq ter waarde vn 4000 €

Zal dan wat meer zijn dan koppakking, maar geen gehele revisie. Wellicht is het een koprevisie geweest? Dat is niet ongebruikelijk, onderblok is vaak niet nodig. Met een dusdanig revisiebedrag zou het goed kunnen dat ontstekingsdelen niet zijn vervangen, ik zou die dus eerst controleren.

Eerst is sr sprake van een volledig gereviseerde motor, nu weet je niet wat er aan de motor gedaan is.

Voor 4000 euro kun je niet eens de koppen reviseren laat staan spreken van een volledige revisie.

Mijn advies:
Zoek een goede garage die bekend is met de E500.
Voor adressen kun je terecht bij de eigenaren van een E500 hier op het forum.
Er zijn er al een paar die hier gereageerd hebben.

Voor 4k vervang je ketting en koppakking zo een beetje inclusief koppen vlakken

Setje stoters en geleiders kost al inkoop 1000 euro

Jah, kweet dat bij de W124 M119 is, maar zijn dat niet juist dezelfde als bij de W129 500SL?
Of zit er toch een prijsverschil op?

vind het wel apart dat je zomaar een ander topic kaapt met een SL M119 motor

een SL motor gaat niet zomaar in een W124, onderdelen zijn ook niet identiek
koppen zijn anders net als nokkenassen

welke meer kost durf ik niet te zeggen, heb er destijds 1 gekocht met bak voor 1000 euro met de gedachten lekker alles dubbel te hebben, losse onderdelen aan het blok kosten een vermogen.

Puntje bij paaltje heb ik bijna niets kunnen gebruiken zoiets moet in identiek dezelfde auto als waar die uit komt

een M119 aanbieden zal niet veel opleveren beter wachten tot iemand het nodig heeft dan betalen ze de veel meer
