Nu mijn E320 eindelijk weer de weg op kan met een nieuwe motorkabelboom, denk ik er over er een radio in te bouwen. Er zit nu geen radio in, zo gekocht.
Aanvankelijk dacht ik aan een originele radio, een Becker is dat geloof ik, maar bij nader inzien wil ik toch iets moderns. Want in mijn andere auto's stoor ik me mateloos aan de slechte ontvangst, dus wil het hier goed aanpakken, een DAB+ radio met bijbehorende antenne. Vraag is nu of dat eigenlijk wel kan in een W124.
Iemand ervaring of tips?

Persoonlijk vind ik de radio's van Continental heel erg goed passen. Periode correcte uiterlijk maar dan toch met moderne technologie. De CDD7418UB-OR heeft DAB+, bluetooth, aux , ...

Jaah, dat ziet er inderdaad heel erg goed uit, zo hoort een autoradio er in mijn ogen uit te zien. Hoe is de techniek, goed en betrouwbaar? Waar kun je deze autoradio's kopen?

Andere vraag; liefst zou ik een elektrisch uit/inschuifbare DAB+ antenne gebruiken, kan ze alleen niet vinden. iemand een tip?

Bij mijn Kenwood dab radio, kan je de gewone antenne gebruiken en voor de dab heb ik er een plak strip bij wat je op de ramen moet plakken, maar eigenlijk heb je de gewone antenne niet meer nodig al je dab gebruikt,heb er even een foto bij gedaan van de dab antenne.

Kun je geen signaalsplitter gebruiken op de originele (automatische) Hirschmann antenne?

Qua radio is een originele Becker Special of Exquisit ook een optie. Op de cd-wisselaar aansluiting daarvan kun je een kastje aansluiten waarmee je MP3/WMA kunt afspelen of via een aux aansluiting een extern apparaat (waaronder een DAB-radio) kunt aansluiten. Ik heb een Becker Special en zo'n substituut cd-wisselaar (zonder DAB-radio) in mijn E280 Kombi en dat werkt tot nu toe uitstekend.

Ik heb deze in overweging.

Het zal waarschijnlijk door de volume knop en de degelijke uitstraling komen dat mij dit een geschikte kandidaat lijkt voor in een klassewagen.
Met een prijs vanaf €185,= vind ik deze dan nog niet overdreven duur. Al vind ik het zelf wel veel geld.

Die had ik in eerste instantie ook op het oog, mooi ding, maar de specs van de continental spreken mij meer aan.

Ik heb zelf een pioneer 7800 DAB+ radio ingebouwd. Geen authentieke uitstraling maar wel SUPERstrak design.... er zit ook bluetooth op en een mooie digitale antenne... foto ervan probeer ik nog bij te voegen.
Alles supernetjes weggewerkt.... microfoontje in de interieur verluchting van het plafond
