Mijn MB Data card van de W124 230E uit 1989 laat de volgende optie zien:

551 ANTI-THEFT/ANTI-BREAK-IN WARNING SYSTEM

en het enige wat ik in de auto kan vinden is de claxon van het systeem.
Het kan zijn dat de vorige eigenaar het heeft laten uitbouwen, maar om zeker te zijn wil ik het controleren

Weet iemand waar deze optie gemonteerd is en mischien er photos van heeft, of een document waar dit systeem beschreven wordt.

Stuureenheid zit onder de voetsteun aan de passagierskant bij de W126. Ik neem aan dat hij bij de W124 ook daar zit.

Ik heb ook geen enkel idee hoe dit alarmsysteem heeft gefunctioneerd en met wat je het activeerd/uitzet, heb alleen de originele autosleutels, maar niets extras om het alarm te bedienen. Zie ook geen enkel ledje/lampje wat duid op het alarm.

Wat ik tot nu toe gevonden heb is de alarm unit die onder de mat zit aan de passagierskant (see photo).

Ook het originele handboek wat bij deze auto hoort laat helemaal niets zien over het alarmsysteem,...vreemd.

Is dit mischien een weinig bestelde fabrieks optie geweest toendertijd?, maar dan nog verwacht je informatie over hoe het functioneerd en waar de componenten zitten.

Hopelijk kan iemand meer licht hierop schijnen.

Dit is inderdaad je alarm unit. Standaard af fabriek. Normaal zijn die ook uitgerust met hellingshoekdetector. Deze zit bij de W201 achter de onderbank bestuurderszijde. Werking is via de extra schakelaars in de deuren/motorklep en kofferbak en na 30 SEC wordt dit geactiveerd alsmede de hellingshoek detectie. Antiblokkeerd dan ook.

@ Orion, dank for de confirmatie, dus het systeem zit er wel degelijk in.

Nu rest de vraag hoe dit alarm te bedienen, je verwacht dan een soort afstandbediening en ook een ledje in het dashboard waar je kan zien of het ge-activeerd/ge-deactiveerd is.

Ik heb dus niet deze handleiding bij de auto en ook niet het controlle lampje op de middenconsole, dus ik denk dat er iets is uitgebouwd door the PO en daarbij ook het boekje verwijderd.

Heb jij een codenumber van de afstandsbediening en eventueel het controlle lampje, misschien kan ik het systeem weer compleet en werkend krijgen.
Zou wel zo mooi zijn bij mijn auto die voor de rest origineel is en nooit iets veranderd/toegevoegd, met uitzondering van de radio en de airco met het huidige R123 gaz.

Heb dus deze optie af fabriek. Ik heb een after market afstandbediening welke via de vacuümpomp is aangesloten. Op deze manier aktiveer je net als met je sleutel het alarm. Kan zijn dat de led eruit is en een nieuwe tunnel console erin zit.

Mijn alarm werkt gewoon via de deurschakelaar, deur op slot is alarm aan, deur open is alarm uit.

Dat klopt, alarm werkt via het portierslot aan de bestuurderskant.

dus als ik mijn deur opslot doe met de sleutel staat het alarm aan, hoe dit te controleren zonder in mijn eigen auto intebreken. Er zal toch een lampje zijn wat laat zien dat het alarm armed is en wat uitgaat als je met jouw sleutel de wagen opent en dus het alarm dis-armed.
is hier geen technisch document/schema van hoe mijn systeem aangesloten is en funtioneerd ?

Je kunt het toch testen. Laat raam open, maak de deur op slot. Wacht 30 SEC, staat wel 15 SEC in handleiding en maak dan de deur open via de binnen klink.

Weet je zo of ie nog werkt.

Heb alvast een document gevonden what het een en ander beschrijft......

maar nog steeds geen indicatie van wanneer het alarm aan of uit staat (LEDje of zo).
Als iemand de wiring diagrams heeft dan houd ik mij aanbevolen.
