in aansluiting op mijn item van "geen vonk" ga ik hier maar even verder.
Het blijkt namelijk dat er een heel dun laagje olie aan de binnenkant van de verdelerkap zit.
Het zijn eigenlijk meer heel kleine spatjes.
Ik verdenk de verminderde vonk aan de bougiekanten dan ook van dit olie spat probleem.
De vonk aan de aansluiting op het centrale deel van de verdeelkap is goed, een kwasie onbelaste vonk zou je kunnen zeggen.
Ik kan er wel een nieuwe verdeelkap opzetten, om te kijken of de vonk nu sterk genoeg is om te starten, maar hoe lang houd dit dan stand?

Wie kent dit probleem, en wat kan ik er aan doen, of eventueel laten doen!?
Waar kan ik wat vinden over dit onderwerp.

Ik heb eens een gekke vraag maar ik snap niet dat er olie spatten in je verdeler kap kan komen het is toch een gesloten geheel????

Maar het klopt wat Nico zecht door deze specifieke olie lekkage kan er denk ik geen olie in de verdeelkap komen, of het zou zo moeten zin dat de olie er uitspuit, maar volgens mij zit daar ook geen lek, maar ik zal er toch binnenkort even heel goed naar kijken.

Punt is dat er achter het zadel waar de rotor op gemonteerd zit nog een klein kering ringetje zit, en als die lekt, dan spat de olie achter de rotor in de verdeelkap, ik zal kijken of ik daar een tekeningg van kan plaatsen, ik ben die vaardiheid al weer kwijt vrees ik, maar toch,

Klopt, maar ik zou het hele detail aanpakken. Dat kleine o-ringetje, maar ook gelijk die grotere manchetring zeg maar. De kosten kunnen het niet zijn, de moeite is hobby en je sluit direct alles uit.

Denk er om, temperatuurverschillen, oliedampen vanuit onder de kleppendeksel, en bovenal, het is 30 jaar oud.

Ja dat klopt, ik heb nog even een foto gemaakt van het binnenste van de verdelerkap, en dan zie je die vetpareltjes heel duidelijk, het is geen vocht, voelt als olie.

Henk, ik denk dat het voornamelijk vocht (condens) is. Zet er een nieuwe kap en rotor op en je kunt weer 15.000 rijden. Rijden moet je auto, en niet te lang stilstaan.
De verdeelkappen van mijn 400 en 500 gaan hooguit 15.000km mee. Van die auto’s een bekend fenomeen. Er zijn al pagina`s vol over geschreven.
Mijn auto’s rijden ook te weinig door seizoen en omdat ik er 3 heb die dus regelmatig te lang stilstaan.
Zo zagen de verdeelkappen er uit na een paar wintermaanden stilstaan, vorig jaar.

Dus haal je niet teveel werk en hoofdbrekens op je nek en vervang alleen de verdeelkap met rotor. Nieuwe bougies vind je auto ook lekker.

Op Je foto lijken die pareltjes heel erg op die van mij,,, maar als het waterdamp druppels zouden zijn, dan zijn ze na een dagje toch wel verdampt, maar die pareltjes die in mijn kap zitten zijn niet verdampt, maar echte vette spatjes.
Kan jij je nog herinneren of die pareltjes na een dag weg waren of heb je ze weg geveegd, ik snap dat je dat in je enthousiasme zou doen, maar dan ben je dus wel de informatie vet/water verloren (

Maar jouw verhaal over te weinig rijden met die auto klopt wel, ik rij er dus slechts 9 maanden mee, en dan in totaal iets van 2 a 3 duizend kilometer, ik doe het huisie boompie beesie werk met mijn W115,, de trouwste auto die ik ooit heb gehad )) schandalig eigenlijk dat ik er zo weinig aandacht aan besteed (

Dag Henk,

Ik ben zo bijna een jaar aan het tobben geweest met mijn R129 300 SL, niemand kon het vinden.
Die auto startte altijd wel maar sloeg af na 3 kilometer, ik heb er toen een keer een ANWB monteur bij gehad die met een schroevendraaier krassen maakte aan de binnenkant van de verdelerkap en het probleem was opgelost.

Hij vertelde mij toen dat het een aanslag van het vonken was. Nadien een nieuwe verdelerkap geplaatst en nooit meer problemen gehad.

Als er olie in je verdeler kap zit is de keerring lek.
Je kunt het ook zo laten en schoonpoetsen maar met een lekke keerring van een paar euro is het probleem opgelost.
Als het vocht is zou je die grote O ring eens kunnen vernieuwen.

A kijk daarom vroeg ik me af hoe kan er olie in komen dus het kan van een kapotte keerring

Ik heb die keerring al in bestelling bij Ben Haagsmaa, maar ik vervang dan ook gelijk de verdeelkap de rotoe en die grote gele schotel die achter de rotor zit, en de grote O ring mee.

Op die laatste foto zie ik nog niet precies waar die kering zit, maar al het zooitje open ligt zal je er wel bij kunnen.
Ook heb ik gelezen dat het lastig kan zijn om het "zadel" waar de rotor met drie inbusboutje m3 op zit los te trekken uit de nokkenas,, we zullen zien.

In de keerring zit en soort veer. Je gaat het zien als je hem eruit hebt. op de foto ligt de oude er naast, daar zie je voorzichtig de veer ring al zitten.

Dit soort dingen zou ik altijd bij de dealer bestellen.
Na het plaatsen van alles wat jij hebt besteld, ben je van olie lekkage daar af.
