Mijn motor (M102.982) heeft een zwart plastic deksel op de thermostaat housing, ziet er nieuw uit, maar lekt een heel klein beetje.
Deksel zit met 2 schroeven vast, maar je ziet dat de spleet tussen deksel en housing niet evenwijdig is, komt door de elastisiteit van het plastic, dus krijg je nooit een super afdichting tussen deksel en housing.

Meen ooit eens gelezen te hebben dat er een metalen (aluminium) uitvoering is, wat beter afsluit, maar kan geen onderdeelnummer van MB hiervan vinden.

Heeft iemand de juiste referentie hiervoor zodat ik dit bij MB kan bestellen...

Ja dat nummer (A102 203 03 74 ) heb ik, maar dat laat alleen de plastic cover zien en niet de metalen, vandaar mijn vraag.

Waarom al die moeite om het zelf op te zoeken?
Ik haalde een thermostaat voor mijn auto en de magazijnman vroeg mij direct of ik al een als deksel had; nee. Hij bestelde hem er meteen bij.
Mijn collega, zelfde auto, ging naar de dealer, vroeg hem een als deksel; werd besteld.

Hij, noch ik hebben zelf in onderdeel nummers zitten zoeken; daar is de magazijnman voor

Bedankt Gombal voor het meedenken (daar is dit Forum voor),
Ik zie wel dat de metalen cover niet de slangaansluiting heeft die naar de expansietank gaat (zie photo), maar een sort of ontluchtings nipple bovenop de cover.

Lijkt dus niet 100% compatible, of zie ik iets over het hoofd.

Is wel compatible; je krijgt de andere onderdelen erbij en je maakt gewoon dat tuitje erop.
Maar nogmaals; de magazijn bediende weet precies wat je nodig hebt.......jij hoeft het wiel niet opnieuw uit te vinden; diegene heeft het al 1001 keer besteld
