Bovenstaande is een rare omschrijving van het "probleem" wat ik heb.

Ik ben benieuwd of iemand er duidelijkheid over kan geven.

Mijn 300CE (automaat '89) heeft volgens het kenteken 180 pk. Volgens autoweek zou het dan een 12 klepper moeten zijn.
Immers een 24 klepper heeft volgens hun 220 pk.

Nu zit er 100% zeker een 24 klepper in! Monteur van mijn garage zei dat al een keer. Achterop zit ook een plaatje van 24v (maar dat wil niks zeggen, kan er ook wel een plaatje van een Diesel op hangen als ik dat wil)
Maar die motor, we hebben vandaag nog eens gekeken, dat is echt een 24 klepper. Op het blok (beter gezegd onder het blok) staan ook wat cijfertjes 104 014 -- -- en op de zijkant 103 011 10 01

Wie weet hoe het zit?

Moet ik nu bij het aanschaffen van een nieuwe uitlaat daar bijvoorbeeld rekening mee gaan houden? Of maakt dat niks uit?

Ik vind het maar een vaag verhaal!

Vandaag ook ontdekt dat ik gordelaanreikers heb. Alleen doen ze het niet... Waarom ze het niet doen, dat gaan we nog uitzoeken.

Ik wil best een foto van het blok maken, daar niet van. Geef dan wel even aan wat je er precies op wilt hebben staan.

volgens mij, aan de nummers te zien, heb je een M103 blok met een M104 kop en dus 24 kleppen...

Ik ben a-technisch vooropgesteld.

Wil dat wat zeggen nog over het vermogen?

Er is dus een nieuwe kop opgekomen?

Volgens mij waren de eerste M104 een M103 blok met M104 kop, maakt voor het vermogen niet uit, is dus 220pk.

Ik heb de onderste.

Als er interesse is wil ik best proberen een foto te maken deze te uploaden. Ik weet ook niet of het een overgangsmodel is of zo. Op de CD rom die ik heb (werkstatt information) heeft men het over een 103 of een 104. Ik kan niks terug vinden over een 103 met een 104 kop.

Ik vind het gruwelijk interessant in elk geval!

Zit te denken om eens langs de Mercedes dealer te rijden en daar eens mijn licht op te steken.

Ook om hem eens door te meten op een vermogensbank of zo? (of praat ik nou onzin?)

Dat is dus het 220pk blok

Je kan ook op de Russische MB site kijken en je VIN-nummer invullen ....dan kun je ook zien hoeveel Kw je auto heeft.

Als je je WDB124.... nummer (VIN) invult krijg je als het goed is ook het motornummer te zien. Kan je gelijk checken of de originele motor er in ligt of dat deze er later is ingezet. Een M103 met M104 kop heb ik nog nooit van gehoord, maar je leert wat bij zo

Ik krijg in elk geval een heel andere motorcode op die website dan dat ik op het blok heb gezien.

Ik vind dit wel leuk puzzlen zo.

Heb ook al een naburige garage gevraagd wat het kost om een run te maken op een vermogensbank. Dat was 65 euro. Dat ga ik denk ik wel doen als hij dadelijk weer uit zijn schorsing is.
Lijkt me zeer interessant in elk geval!

Aantal kw gaf hij niet aan op die site trouwens!

je moet het wel weten want als je op chassisnummer onderdelen besteld krijg je het verkeerde.

Heb je een Werkstatt-CDROM? Kan je nog even net iets meer info op je chassinummer vinden dan op de Russische site.
