Hierbij mijn zeer onlangs aangeschafte E220 uit 1993.

Ik heb 10 jaar lang een E320-combi gehad. Ik ben me laten verleiden deze te verkopen om mijn toenmalige echtgenoot terwille te zijn. De opvolger, een hybride Lexus 400h, was een prima en probleemloze auto, maar ik bleef toch de W124 heel erg missen. Na mijn scheiding wilde weer terug naar mijn oude liefde (op autogebied dan). Toen ik deze E220 minder dan een ton op de teller zag staan, twijfelde ik wel even over de kleur, maar ik ben er inmiddels helemaal verliefd op. Deze week heb ik er opgeknapte 8-gaats velgen onder laten zetten. Is het geen plaatje geworden? Nu maar heerlijk genieten.

Je hebt een prachtige 220E gekocht en mooi de kilometerstand veel plezier van je wagen en natuurlijk hier op het forum

Welkom! Mooie originele wagen. En tja, naar je vrouw luisteren als het om jouw persoonlijke auto-keuze gaat, is niet handig nee Wat die kleur betreft ben ik het helemaal met je eens... Rosenholz Metallic kies je niet als je het voor het uitkiezen hebt natuurlijk Maar goed, je wagen lijkt in uitstekende staat en met zo'n lage km-stand kom je ze niet meer vaak tegen (voor een redelijke prijs dan). Veel rijplezier gewenst!

Ik vind het wel een knappe kleur. Beetje rookzilver-achtig.

Over de velgen heb ik wel m'n twijfels, die zou ik eerder gewoon zilver doen ipv hoogglans. Al zat ik overlaatst wel te denken dat hoogglans 15-gaats op een mopf 0 me wel wat leek.

Ik ben aan het kijken voor zo een zelfde auto, ook met weinig km. Ik ben wel benieuwd wat jij ervoor hebt betaald zodat ik een beetje een ijkpunt heb. (kan per PM als je wilt).

Als ik hem koop zal ik ook fotoś plaatsen.

Hey Math,

Heb een E220 met bijna 4 ton op de teller. Ofwel als ze een paar kms meer hebben gelopen, is dat geen probleem.
Verbruikt geen olie. Wel begint de koppakking moeilijk te doen.
Kabelboom heb ik wel vervangen. Dat probleem zal wel ook wel tegenkomen op een auto van 25 jaar.
Mocht je een keer willen rijden in een (4 ton) E220, dan laat maar weten. Woon in Geldrop.

Ik heb de E220 inmiddels gekocht. In tegenstelling tot Rolf heb ik wel een schuifdak (voor mij een must) maar dan weer geen Klima... Gelukkig wel elektrische ramen maar alleen aan de voorkant. Ach ja, elke auto is toch uniek, al lijken ze nog zo veel op elkaar
