Sorry, BMW vraagje....."mag dat" hier?

Ik zit momenteel in een Aziatisch land waar ik belachelijk veel BMW 5-series uit de jaren 90 tegenkom...de zogenaamde E-34´s.
Geen enkele W124, en slechts 3 W210`s tot nu toe....die duidelijk nog als limousine beschouwd worden; waren echt in goede staat.

Nu probeer ik ook misschien 7-series uit diezelfde tijd te spotten.....de zogenaamde E-32´s.
Op afstand bijna identiek aan de 5-series uit die tijd.
Ik weet wel, de 7-series is langer etc, maar dat zie ik er niet zo makkelijk aan af.
Voorlichten en achterlichten lijken identiek.
Ik haal ze uit elkaar door naar de bovenkant van de achterbak te kijken, de grotere 7-series achterbak bolt uit naar achter....terwijl de 5 series´s achterbak naar "binnen" loopt.

Ik heb gezocht op Google.....onwijs beperkt in dit land.....maar ik kan geen mooie vergelijkende foto's bekijken tussen deze 2 modellen? In het Engels niet....noch in het Deutsch.
Heeft iemand met BMW verstand wellicht wat foto's deze twee dinven naast elkaar?

Breedte van de knipperlichten vóór (e32 heeft bredere) en de achterkant verraadt het het snelst: E32 heeft een bolle kont, de E34 heeft een holle kont.

Daarbij heeft de 7 optisch een langere, plattere neus. Sowieso toont de 7 gestrekter dan de 5.
Ik heb in een ver verleden een 520i E34 gehad. Jaren later bijne een 730i V8 E32 gekocht.
Mooie en fijne auto's.

De E32 brandt ook iets langer

Aah,

het viel me ook ineens op dat de achterlichten niet helemaal hetzelfde zijn.
De 7-serie heeft een "extra" set rode lichten naast het kenteken en de 5-serie niet.

Ik dacht dat de grille altijd aan de voorkant van de auto zit:

Er zat een half jaar tussen die 2 posts.......dus ja, ik zat in Azië.....en daarna niet.

Waarom staat zoiets nou niet hier, hè. Bulgarije is me net ff te ver.
Hele fijne auto's, heb er ook 1 gehad. Een 520i van 1990, is inmiddels ook alweer een 22 jaar geleden.
Een 525iX lijkt me ook wel erg fijn. Ach ja...

Ik had een mooie Petrol Mica (soort groen-zwart) 525i A Executive E34. Een hele late uit januari 1996. Prachtige wagen en van huis uit niet het Turkenbak/marktkoopmannen/bouwvakkers/vrachtwagenchaufeurs-imago, wat de W124 nu eenmaal wel heeft. Toch ben ik zeker ook van de W124 gaan houden, misschien wel juist om het enigszins oubollige en niet sportieve imago. Ondertussen zijn vooral de 6- en 8-cilinder uitvoeringen natuurlijk gewoon wél sportief en allerminst oubollig in hun rijgedrag. Sterker nog, mijn 280E vond ik eigenlijk beter en lekkerder rijden dan mijn 525i. Kan aan het iets grotere aantal pk's liggen maar ook aan de 4-bak automaat in de 280E. Die hoeft minder te zoeken naar zijn versnelling dan de 5-bak in de E34 525i.
