Vandaag was het weer eens raak, twee keer zelfs. In Tilburg. Wel twee uitersten, oordeel zelf:

- W124 200E, bouwjaar 1992 (rood).
- W124 230E, bouwjaar 1988 (groen).

Hallo Nan ja wat een verschil die rode lijkt me wel een plaatje zo te zien

Parkeren is ook een vak geen twee.

Mooi bewijs dat wieldoppen tegenwoordig een vreselijk ontwerp hebben. Alsof ze opzettelijk zo lelijk gemaakt zijn zodat men de optionele alu wielen zou aanvinken.

Niet alleen de wieldoppen Ian, ik vind zowat alle nieuwe auto's ronduit lelijk.
Ontworpen door computerprogamma's, ineen geflanst door robots, tsja, maar gebruikt door mensen.

Beetje korrelige foto. Oorzaak: afstand en beperkte mogelijkheden van een smartphone.

Maar...overduidelijk twee maal een W124, bij Auto Jan Wisse op Ritthem. Vandaag gespot na een bezoekje aan vrienden in Zoutelande.

2 stations achter elkaar op den Duitse autobahn!
Uhm de voorste ben ik.
Heb de man nog een dumpie gegeven toen hij mij inhaalde.

Midweek naar Cochem geweest, maar voor de rest weinig W124 gezien, zeker niet op de weg.
Wel een fel groene W123 200D. Ook leuk.

Prachtplaat Roland!

Vanmiddag was het weer eens raak in 'de schôônste stad vant laaaand' (Tilburg): deze prachtige zilvergrijze W124 230E, bouwjaar 1986. Vier eigenaren, vijf incl. autobedrijf. Sinds 12 oktober 2017 op naam van huidige eigenaar.

Bij het verkeerslicht stonden we naast elkaar. Ik bespiedde een Tempomat-hendel aan de stuurkolom maar verder onduidelijk welke opties deze klasbak heeft. In ieder geval een aftermarket derde remlicht en een trekhaak voor de anhanger of sleurhut.

Moet natuurlijk 12 november zijn, een dag na de 'elfde van de elfde'.

Ik had vroeger ook vaak een kater op de dag na d'n 11e van d'n 11e.....
Ik woonde om de hoek van waar de foto's zijn gemaakt, in het Kuiperstroatje.
Maar het werd me te druk daar.

Ik ben juist, na afwezigheid van bijna 40 jaar, weer teruggekeerd...

De cirkel is nu rond, exact 50 jaar nadat ik in Tilburg kwam wonen, ben ik weer 'geland'. Woon in De Korvel, heerlijk!

Zie hier nog regelmatig W124's rijden. Meestal 'schiet' ik ze, zoals je afgelopen periode in dit topic hebt gezien
