Ik zal ook weer eens een duit in het zakje doen in deze categorie (en niet alles aan Archivarius overlaten). Vooral om aan te geven, dat deze oude dames in onze hoofdstad gelukkig nog làng niet zijn uitgeroeid. Ik kom er vrijwel dagelijks wel een tegen (vooral sedan, coupé of T).

Dit exemplaar trof ik gister aan, ik had deze al eens eerder gespot op bijna dezelfde locatie. Wellicht van een mede-forumlid ?? Dit betreft een E280T van nov. '94, sinds eind jan. 2011 in NL en sindsdien nog steeds bij dezelfde eigenaar. Kijk, daar gaat mijn bloed sneller van stromen, dit is wat ik noem "groen en circulair", dit móét wel een liefhebber zijn. Gelet op de kentekenplaat-omlijsting waarschijnlijk aangeschaft (in 2011 dus) bij het gerenommeerde bedrijf Aaben Youngtimers (van Han Terneldeli) (inmiddels niet meer actief). Km-stand nu: zo'n 233.000 km, dus net ingereden. Uni-zwart, zwart leer, met verder o.a. airco, 4-bak automaat, schuifdak, sportline, tempomat, koplampwissers, infrarood bediening voor de CV. Helaas zijn de beide achterlicht-"glazen" kaduuk (gaten), en zijn de beide bumpers nogal gehavend. Ook de antenne-spriet lijkt mij zo niet geheel in orde. Maar verder: een pláátje, ook van binnen.

En nu ik toch bezig ben: deze E220 Coupé spotte ik niet lang geleden, ook een aantal keren bijna op dezelfde plek in Mokum. Ook met aardig wat leuke opties. Deze rolde eind okt. '95 uit de fabriek, en woont sinds jan. '18 in NL, maar inmiddels sinds okt. '20 alweer bij een andere eigenaar. Merkwaardig vind ik dat de RDW aangeeft dat dit een "sedan" is.

Vandaag dagje Zeeland en zowaar drie keer raak:

1. Op de A58 richting Bergen op Zoom reed deze W124.

2. Op de N57 deze W124 200E uit 1993, met dagrijverlichting

3. En jaja Gombal (Arjen) in Westkapelle, een W124 230E. Bouwjaar 1991, tweede eigenaar. Kon het niet laten om mijn C124 er even naast te zetten. Zoek de tien verschillen...

Wat leuk om mijn eigen Benz-je te zien. Die dagrijverlichting is een mooie optie die ik door Carlife in Vlissingen heb laten plaatsen evenals mijn cc. Vandaag mijn wagen naast een mooie en steeds zeldzamer wordende W116: locatie Albert Heijn Middelburg centrum, nog een tijdje met de vriendelijke eigenaar gesproken.

Die auto verdient een beter lot, kun je hem niet redden?

Vanmiddag in de buurt van Vlaardingen, deze W124 220E. Bouwjaar 1993, bij tweede eigenaar sinds 6 september 2016.

De dashcam registreerde alles weer feilloos

Een originele 220E, kort voor de overgang naar E220.
Een 220E is de opvolger van de 230E en is maar heel kort met deze benaming op de markt geweest.
Dus redelijk zeldzaam te noemen

Op bijgaande foto mijn 250 diesel vele jaren geleden.
Uit een periode dat [zakelijk] diesel rijden nog heel gewoon was.

Gisteren naar de keuring (APK) geweest met mijn W126. Twee auto's voor mij was deze Mopf2 250D Turbo aan de beurt. Propere originele wagen zonder veel franjes leek me.
Weet niet of ie geslaagd was.
