Een 320 is verslavend. Heb de Coupe nu 4 jaar. De eerste 2 jaar intensief gebruikt voor woon-werk verkeer en direct een G3 installatie laten inbouwen. Nu als 2e auto in gebruik, staat in de winterstalling. Begin km stand 37000, nu 130000. Inmiddels wel de 2 zwakke punten laten vervangen. Koppakking en motorkabelboom. Ook de 3 bobines zijn vernieuwd. Voor de Coupe een 24V E300D, zalige auto voor de lange afstand, maar in de winter vond ik het een drama, voor die plas olie op temperatuur was, nog afgezien van de herrie. Eenmaal warm, als een zwitzers uurwerk.
Kan nog steeds genieten over de acceleratie van de 320. Het pedaal naar de vloermat, ster omhoog, de kickdown, daarna het opengaan van het variabele inlaatspruitstuk, blijft een sensatie. De dikste grijns krijg ik als er een moderne auto naast me stil staat, licht op groen, geef ze eerst nog een paar meter en dan het gas er op, denken ze met een 200D te maken te hebben, raast dat ding in ruim 7 SEC naar 100.....wat kwam daar voorbij ???? !!!!
