een korte vraag passen de originele 500E velgen onder een 230E uit 86? Heb van iemand gehoord dat dit wellicht gaat aanlopen met de verkeerde band erop. Zit nu 205/55r16 op. 8j et34

De uitgeklopte wielkasten zijn niet voor de bandenmaat, maar omdat Porsche de spoorbreedte heeft aangepast toch?

En met 205/55/16 gaat het waarschijnlijk wel aanlopen ja.

Klopt. Spoorbreedte van E500 is breder. Wielkasten zijn daarom o.a uitgeklopt. Daarbij is de et maat ook veel lager dan het origineel zodat deze niet aanloopt

kijk maar op de site van Marco HOF: de 300CE cabrio die daar staat heeft ze eronder liggen.

Verdorie, die had even goed bij mij kunnen staan!
Heb zeker een half uur bij Marco op een stoeltje zitten twijfelen tussen de 300CE-24 met blauwe kap en karo, of de 300CE-24 met zwarte kap, leder en automaat. Is uiteindelijk die laatste geworden

Je hebt ook 8-gats velgen in de maat 16", maar met ET38. Deze zijn van een W210 en passen veel mooier op een standaard (niet E500) W124 dan de E500 versie met ET34. Ik heb ze voor mijn 300D turbo gekocht, en ze staan er erg mooi onder moet ik zeggen. Heb er ook 205/55/16 banden op liggen, gaat perfect!
