Ik ben druk bezig de Werkstatt weer eens te verbouwen.

Eens komt de dag, dat ik van deze Benz eens van genieten mag.
(Al moet ik dan eerst de spuitcabine nog terug opbouwen)

De hobbyclub op mijn werk heeft een brug dus dan kan je overal lekker makkelijk bij (had ik er thuis maar een, de garage is net te laag..), dus gisteravond alvast de voortrein ingespoten met kruipolie zodat alles wat makkelijker los komt deze week.
Ook even gekeken naar de oorzaak van de benzinelucht, verdachte was de pomp, blijkt de koppeling te zijn van de pomp aan de tank.
Ik wist niet dat er twee pompen onder een W124 zitten, zag de pers van de pomp wel verdwijnen onder de volgende plastic kap, maar niet los geschroefd. Zie dat er nog verschillende uitvoeringen zijn ook.
Morgen maar langs de dealer voor die slang, ik kan hem niet vinden op 't web.

In deze Werkstatt ben ik momenteel weer aan het verbouwen. Een 2e hefbrug erbij. Nieuwe verlichting en elektriek en opnieuw hopen onderdelen die zijn binnen gekomen een plek geven.
Normaal gezien hangen hier 2-takt dampen van de bonte collectie Oostblok voertuigen waaronder ook nog een paar russen die we er op na houden ... Deze S124 250TD en mijn iets oudere S123 300TDT zijn dan ook gelukkig wel van Duitse komaf zodat ze dan toch bij ons binnen mogen.

Sommige mensen brengen hun centen naar de kroeg, of gaan geregeld uit eten met z'n allen... Wij steken het in een liefhebberij dat nu eenmaal wat ruimte nodig heeft

Net voor bijna 7*uch*honderd euro aan spulletjes besteld..
De rubbers voor zijn aan vervanging toe, zie ook wat roest net vóór de kogels en door de horrorverhalen van gebroken draagarmen neem ik maar geen risico en vervang die meteen compleet. Nieuwe schokdempers had ik al een tijdje staan, dus die gaan meteen eronder.
Sinds een week of twee hoor ik een kraakje bij het inveren rechts achter, ook die rubbers zien er niet meer nieuw uit, dus ik ga komende weekenden de hele bende vervangen. Gelijk de wiellagers rondom, kraakbusjes etc, ben dan toch bezig. Tijd voor een project topic?
Aangezien ik voor mijn BMW's alleen Lemforder gebruik, krijgt de Ster ook dit materiaal. Ik vertrouw het goedkope spul nu eenmaal niet. 1x heb ik Moog draagarmen gekocht voor een E34, dat merk vermijd ik als de pest. Meyle heeft een mooie reclame campagne, maar leg Lemforder ernaast en je ziet en voelt echt verschil.

Is toch altijd weer leuk om te zien hoe mensen met hun hobby (laat ik het dan ook maar zo blijven noemen) bezig zijn.
Waar zitten de gebroedertjes TEKA ergens?
Als ze redelijk in het midden van het land zitten zou ik best is langs willen rijden, of even binnen komen zelfs
Maar ik mag ook niet mopperen hoor voor stadse begrippen heb ik ook redelijk wat ruimte met mijn 60 vierkante meters.

Vandaag mijn 300E mee uitgenomen, hij mocht vandaag weer de weg op, alles deed het nog
Nou had ik af en toe natuurlijk wel is de motor laten draaien hoor dat mocht nog net van de regering.

Het gas pedaal moet ik weer even aan wennen, dat ging weer veel zwaarder dan van mijn W115.
Ik zal is met de vetspuit rond gaan en ook is wat doen aan die vertraging in reactie van de motor op het gaspedaal intrappen.
Ik heb dat probleem nog steeds niet getaceld,, even wachten misschien op lekker zonnig weer, volgende week of zo?
