Heb er maar eens een comand 2.0 met tv optie en beeldscherm achterin ingebouwd vind het een aparte optie en gelijk het Bose systeem met glasvezel aansturing bijgebouwd

De binnenkant van de wielkuip schoongemaakt, van coating en wax voorzien.

De afgelopen tijd was het zo'n mooi weer dat ik daar maar misbruik van heb gemaakt.
Het begon al met het eruit halen van de achterramen.
Ontroest en terug geplaatst.
De achterklep laten spuiten, was teveel roest en moest gewoon goede gebeuren.
Ondertussen ging gvd ook nog de waterpomp kapot, dus die ook maar even gemaakt.
Dorpelkappen eraf gehaald en de achterbumper.
Roest aangepakt aan de onderzijdes van de wielkasten.
Achterste krikpunten laten lassen.
De leidingen onder de auto aangepakt.. en wat meer roest...
Dit alles buiten voor de deur.
En ja op mijn eigen 'buitenbrug'.
Ja dan krijg je wat aanspraak..
Maar voor de buien af kunnen werken.
Zelfs nog even kunnen poetsen.

In de was zetten komt later.
Met ondertussen 4 ton op den tellert kan hij qua roest er weer even tegen..

Zelfs nog even kunnen poetsen.

In de was zetten komt later.
Met ondertussen 4 ton op den tellert kan hij qua roest er weer even tegen..

Onder het reservewiel.
Leek er strak uit te zien..
Maar dan trek je die rubber dop eruit, en dan trek je de roest en tectiel mee!

Heb bij Michael in Veghel een 'goed' stuk eruit gezaagd en
dat laat ik erin lassen door een vriend van mij.

Ofwel we zijn nog niet klaar.

Vandaag weer eens bij Arjen (Gombal) langsgeweest. Lekker ouderwets bijpraten en ondertussen wat aan mijn Benz 'knutselen'. En heerlijk weertje bovendien

- Het deksel van het luchtfilter was verroest en verdiende een nieuwe verflaag. Roest eraf geschuurd met slijptol en ouderwets schuren met de hand. Daarna in de primer gezet en tenslotte matzwart gespoten. Erg fraai, je ziet er helaas niets van want het zit onder de motorkap maar beter dit dan straks gaten erin door de roest.

- Arjen had nog een setje blauwe zonnekleppen liggen (ik heb een blauw interieur), mét verlichting. Was destijds een optie (code 543) voor een slordige 300 gulden. Aansluiten van de verlichting vind ik van ondergeschikt belang, het gaat me vooral om de zonnekleppen zelf. Die kun je namelijk bijna traploos instellen. Erg fijn! Daarnaast kun je deze zonnekleppen losmaken en tegen de zijruit 'uitschuiven', bijgaande foto zegt voldoende.

Tenslotte nog een karrenvracht aan reserve-onderdelen gekregen waarmee ik nog járen vooruit kan.

Hij is mooi, Kees!

Onlangs de remmen van mijn 280TE eens flink geüpgrade. Set remklauwen met 4 zuigers van 300 24v van Arjan overgenomen. Deze rustig aan opgeknapt en van nieuwe afdichtingen voorzien. Deze met nieuwe Ate schijven, blokken en remslangen geplaatst. Was wel ff puzzelen met schild achter remmen thv fuse kogel maar past precies.
Tevens een rembekrachtiger van een 500 geplaatst, koste ook enig aanpassingen aan oa aircoleidig maar het zit
Na enige tijd rijden remt Benz echt als veel modernere auto, veel minder spierkracht nodig, goed doseerbaar en hard als nodig is

Eevn een intro nodig want dit hoop ik nooit meer te ervaren!

Gisteren reed ik op de N261 richting Tilburg. Voor mij reed een lesauto, opmerkelijk genoeg voorzien van een groene kentekenplaat. De rijschooleigenaar had blijkbaar z'n eigen auto voor onderhoud naar de garage gebracht maar de rijlessen moesten gewoon doorgaan. Begrijpelijk, zeker na al die maanden stilstand als gevolg van het Coronavirus. Maar zorg er dan voor dat die reclamebak + L op het dak van de tijdelijke auto goed en deugdelijk is bevestigd. Deze L stond duidelijk voor Lulhannes...

We reden 100 km/u en plotseling waait dat complete ding van het dak! Ik schrok mezelf de pleuris en kon dat ding nog net ontwijken. Als de afstand korter was geweest, was ie waarschijnlijk dwars door m'n voorruit gevlogen.

De 'L' kon ik helaas niet ontwijken en schampte de zgn. lip aan onderzijde van voorbumper, ter hoogte van het sleepoog. Ik hoorde een knal maar ben doorgereden. Was moe en wilde naar huis. Achteraf stom. Ik had moeten stoppen, gegevens moeten uitwisselen en dan was het verzekeringswerk geweest. Het zij zo. Ik kan mij de naam van de rijschool ook niet meer herinneren. Het was een zwarte Nissan Qashqai.

Thuis de schade opgenomen: lip is gescheurd maar al provisorisch gefixt met tie-wraps en ductape. Mooi is anders maar zo'n nieuwe lip komt later wel. Kan weer rijden en daar gaat het om.

Zojuist een dashcam aangeschaft, veel eerder moeten doen. Dan had ik gisteren direct de spectaculaire beelden aan die "Lulhannes" kunnen overhandigen en had ik ze uiteraard hier op het forum geplaatst.

Ik zie de 300E op Marktplaats. Vast met een dubbel gevoel. Krijg je normale reacties? Het lijkt me een keurige en echte wagen.
