Chouette Pierro, ik kreeg onlangs van een vriend 4 alu velgen met nieuwe zomerbanden, hij had zijn Benz verkocht en de wielen nog liggen.
Heb nu winterbanden onder de E250 break op standaard velgen, iets voor na de winter.

Ja, ik vind de alu velgen ook veel mooier onder een W124, heb ook nooit begrepen waarom MB dit zelf nooit gezien hebben,
Een stalen velg met een plastic wheeldop erop staat toch van geen kant, net als die "Citadintjes" hier in France waar men een goedkoop setje doppen erop zet, gebricoleer.

mocht er interesse zijn voor mijn 4 stalen velgen met de wieldoppen, laat het dan weten.
ps. ga ze niet opsturen, dus ter plaatse ophalen.

Ik heb de kachelmotor vervangen. na 28 jaar ( En meer dan 500.000 km, dus voldoende draaiuren) hield hij er mee op.
Klusje viel eigenlijk wel mee.
En nu ik t eenmaal weet, ging het best makkelijk.
Heb geen airco in de auto, dat schijnt wel een verschil te zijn met monteren / demonteren.
Nu weer lekkere warme lucht in de auto

De kachelmotor van de '87 250TD was laatst ook aanvervanging toe, blijkbaar niet de eerste keer want de plastic kap was miste ook een paar sukken. Dus die ook maar vervangen met die van de donor.
Ik vond al dat de kachel weinig warmte gaf, maar doet het nu weer prima.

De spanningsregelaar vervangen van de dynamo (Valeo).
Daimler Benz had twee leveranciers voor de dynamo op de124-serie: Bosch en Valeo.
Het verschil zit hem in de stekker, je kan dus niet zomaar even Bosch voor een Valeo vervangen en viceversa.

De spanningsregelaar was er wel aan toe.
Contacten ook gelijk behandeld met contactspray, schoonspoelen met wat remmenreiniger en na het drogen vervolgens beschermen en smeren met Pls van ZEP.

Helaas ontbraken een luchtaanzuigdeksel en een kunststofkapje (dopje).
Die zoek ik nu in de gevraagd sectie.

De elektrische raambediening linksvoor deed het niet. Schakelaars gecontroleerd, deze waren goed. Deurpaneel gedemonteerd blijkt dat er helemaal geen motor in zit . Tjah dan kun je storing zoeken wat je wil. We vonden wel een griptang waarmee het raam op zijn plaats werd gehouden.

Wachtend op een motor de stappenmotor gedemonteerd en goed schoon gemaakt.

Vanochtend de spanrol van de multi-riem laten vervangen. En meteen ook maar even een nieuwe multiriem erop.

Ik zit met het welbekende ABS lamp probleem, deze blijft branden. Vandaag multimeter binnen gekregen en de accu en dynamo doorgemeten. Waardes zijn prima dus voorlopig nog bezig met zoeken

Heb ik ook gehad ,99% het overspanningsrelais
Eerst de sensors schoon gemaakt ,zaten vol ijzerdeeltjes .maar had geen effect.
Dus relais

Vandaag in mijn vakantie onderhoud aan de 230E gedaan.
De stalen motorbeschermplaat die ik eerder al had laten stralen , in de zinkspray gezet en daarna
in de zwarte metaal lak. Vandaag onder de auto gemonteerd en is weer zgan.
Versnellings 5 bak olie vervangen + de rubbertjes en klemmetjes op de schakelstangen.
Hij lijkt wel wat soepeler te schakelen nu.
En de kleppendeksel pakking vervangen deze lekte iets, was eigenlijk zo klaar wel goed de
oude rubberdelen uit de kleppendeksel halen.
Mij viel op dat alles er nog heel mooi en schoon uitziet na 35 jaar en 225.000 km.
