Niet vandaag, maar de afgelopen weken.....
28 juni voor de APK geweest, met vlag en wimpel geslaagd. Nu over 2 jaar pas weer aan de beurt .
Verse olie en filter vervangen, nwe bougies, motorruimte gesmeerd.
Vorige week de airco laten vullen met uv-middel, want ik vermoed wel een gaatje ergens, er moest namelijk best wel veel gas bij. Over een maand maar eens kijken waar het lek zit.
Gisteren de bekleding op mijn stoel vervangen. Ik had al ruim een jaar een 2ehands zitting en een rug van een bijrijderstoel liggen. Klus viel me reuze mee en wat een verschil! Gewoon nieuw qua hoe het zit. Had ik veeeeeel eerder moeten doen.

Rug en zitting waren op. De zitting was, en dan niet de veren, dun en slap geworden. De rug ook.

Mooi dat je wagen weer APK gekeurd is en je stoel is weer als nieuw.

Ik blijf het toch apart vinden voor zo n dure auto dat de stoelen zo slecht waren vooral bij het eerste type

die mening draag ik niet, mijn 1ste type stoelen van 1989 zien er nog perfect uit na 250.000km

Die blauwe stoelen zijn ook al niet meer van het eerste type.

Ik kan me herinneren dat de stoelen in de W124 inderdaad beter en steviger werden in de latere series. Toen ik taxi reed in een 1986 200D was die stoel echt flink doorgezakt. Dat terwijl het waarschijnlijk een verstevigde versie was. Maar goed, de auto had ook al 850000 km gereden en de normale chauffeur was nogal gezet.
De nieuwe 200D uit 1993 die toen binnenkwam had veel steverige en comfortabelere zetels.

Vanochtend een nieuwe radio door de garagist laten monteren: een Kenwood KDC-BT740DAB+ om precies te zijn.

Bij de montage van de DAB-antenne tegen de voorruit, moest het complete handschoenkastje eruit en daar trof hij een Nokia handsfree setje aan, voor een Nokia 3110...

Ik dacht dat wordt 1 op 1 omwisselen met de 8 gaats, maar die bouten blijken te lang voor de putdeksels. In feite zijn de bouten goed, maar is de kop te lang waardoor ze uitsteken, niet netjes zo.

Dus op zoek naar een setje korte wielbouten. Als iemand nog wat heeft liggen..

Na veel te lang stilstaan de E36 maar eens een beurt gegeven. Verse olie en filter, luchtfilter, interieur filter (wat een rotplek zeg), remvloeistof ververst, diff ook maar meegenomen, ruitenwissers voor en achter en de haperende interieurverlichting gerepareerd, was nu toch bezig. Had nog zo’n rode zekering en dimmer liggen dus wat kon me gebeuren.nou: niets dus, alles uit elkaar gehaald, vervangen, gelijk paar lampjes die er dan ineens mee ophouden vernieuwd en weer in elkaar gezet. Werkt en rijdt weer als nieuw, ook omdat ik de plastic bussen/ringen van de schakelpook ook vernieuwd heb, k klus trouwens. Brug is voor mij net te laag, dat was nog het gemakkelijkste. Maar goed: het werkt weer. Dan ook maar 4 nieuwe banden, de oude waren echt oud en behoorlijk vierkant geworden. Nu weer wat km maken! Automaat maar gelaten, vorig jaar gereviseerd, die olie is nog goed.

Vanochtend een tweede Brodit-set aangebracht, zodat de mobiele telefoon van mijn vriendin ook kan worden opgeladen.
Kost een paar centen maar dan heb je ook wat

En ja, tussen die twee Brodithouders staat een C124 (schaal 1:87)

Wel leuk op je schaal C124 zo neer te zetten en knap dat je nooit naar de radio luistert ik kan niet zonder ik vind het zo stil anders maar ja jij hebt ook een 6 cilinder om naar te luisteren dat is ook mooi

Wat is die Pullman bekleding toch prachtig Kees!
