Instaplijsten repareren?

Mijn instaplijsten zijn wat beschadigd, en bij de bestuurderskant laat de zilveren strip inmiddels ook los. Verder zijn ze bobbelig. Nu heb ik wat zitten zoeken op eBay en kom ik reparatiesets tegen waarbij je de oude strip weghaalt en er vervolgens een nieuwe strip op plakt. Heeft iemand hier ervaring mee?

Zie mijn reparatie van de aluminium instap strippen op mijn logboek het 2e bericht. Heb ze vervangen voor veel beter geschuurd rvs.
