Hoi iedereen,

Heb vorige week mijn eerste W124 200D gekocht.
Bij het reinigen van mijn interieur bleek onder de passagiersstoel + voetruimte een plas water te staan.
Heb al een paar keer het water opgedroogd, maar het komt steeds terug (van onder de stoel) terwijl de auto droog binnen staat. op de brug zie ik niet meteen een lek langs onder.
Enig idee van waar het water zou kunnen komen?

Volgens een Engelse site zou de waterafvoer onder de ruit geblokkeerd kunnen zijn. Heb ook gelezen dat het door de waterafvoer van het schuifdak kan zijn / ofwel de waterafvoer in de deurlijsten (rechthoekige plastieke kapjes)
Iemand die dit ook al ooit heeft voorgehad?

Ive had water coming in to my car for some months....Noticed it come in from the holes in the dash just above the passenger footwell!
Was causing the car to steam up and get smelly...Not good really.
I somehow found this website and took the advise about the drainage box.
Its located on the passenger side and you need to take the grills at the bottom of the windscreen off....Remove the screws and plastic nuts that secure the next bit on (no need to remove the wiper). I couldnt get the whole thing off so I managed to ease up that part....Thats where I saw water sat at the bottom of the box. To the right at the very bottom a little tube comes off (only about an inch long) and gets rid of the water so it drops out under the car. It was blocked with just a few bits of leaves. As soon as i unblocked it the water drained. You can actually see the pollen filter which goes straight into the cab - When the water gets this high is just drains through into the car....Nasty! Couple of things extra to add....1) Beware of breaking the clips off when removing or moving the grills...They are quite brittle and I broke one off! 2) You can actually get to that pipe without removing anything....Its about an inch long and not a conventional tube...Looks more like a little pigs snout! You may be able to squeeze the gunge out without doing anything ??? Give that a go first as it may save you ten minutes of hassle!
Anyhow....Problem sorted ! Thanks to this site!

Snap dat hij droog binnen staat , maar je rijd ook als het regent of geregent heeft? Dan zou ik denken aan een gat in de bodem van je 124..

Heb je een schuifdak ?
Controleer de 4 afwateringskanalen eens
Dorpelkop verrot, via doorgeroeste kriksteunen kan daar water komen
En ook door de voorruit, is die eens vervangen ?
Stap voor stap, desnoods met de tuinslang controleren

Als de auto droog binnen staat en telkens nat wordt is dat vreemd....is het geen koelwater (kachel)??
en anders de drains even nakijken...als je airco hebt !! ook de condensdrain slangen aan de zijkanten van de console kijken of ze niet kapot zijn.

Heb je ook al eens onder de motorkap gekeken bij je water afvoer links en recht bij je spatborden onder de voorruit als die vol met troep zitten kan het water ook naar binnen lopen

Heb ik ook gehad, kachelradiateur was lek.

Als de kachelradiateur lek is zou je dat toch moeten ruiken zo n zoete aparte lucht van het koelwater

Heel erg bedankt voor de vele reacties! ik ga met deze informatie dit proberen uit te zoeken en dan laat ik iets weten wat het probleem was (hopelijk).

zelf ook gehad, mij was een slecht vervangen voorruit de dader.
kit was los gekomen over zo'n 10cm...

proef op de som nemen: iemand in de wagen en iemand langs buiten met de tuinslang alle hoekjes en kantjes 'bespuiten'

Dat is een goeie tip nou regen genoeg vandaag

Zelf heb ik mij ook een keer suf gezocht naar de oorzaak van lekkage. Tuinslangen en hogedruk reinigers op de auto laten spuiten en niets kunnen vinden, maar na een fikse regenbui lag er elke keer een flinke plas water onder de vloermat voor de bestuurder stoel. Na een was beurt ben ik weer eens onder het dashboard gaan kijken en had de beplating onder het dashboard weg gehaald en zag toen eindelijk een waterspoortje lopen achter het rempedaal . De lekkage werd veroorzaakt door een slechte afdichting tussen rembekrachtiger en schutboard.

Ja het hoeft maar een klein gaatje te hebben water gaat overal door heen wel mooi dat je het gevonden hebt

Nu hopen dat de topic starter het ook kan vinden??

Voorlopig denk ik dat ik al 1 lek gevonden heb. (hopelijk vind ik er niet meer)
Zo te zien is de dichting van de voorruit de boosdoener. zie foto's + filmpje.
hoe kan ik deze slechte dichtingen het beste sealen?

Mooi dat je een lek hebt kunnen vinden dan bedoel je denk ik dat de kit slecht is bij je voorruit??

Misschien dat je de ruit er heel uit kan krijgen en dan schoonmaken en opnieuw de ruit er in.

Misschien heb je wel hulp van iemand of een beun die je wel wil helpen???

Ondanks dat dit al een heel oud bericht, wil ik toch graag mijn ervaring eraan toevoegen voor een ander die misschien hier ook nog mee zit.
Ik had onder de passagierstoel tot aan de vacuümpomp van de centrale deurvergrendeling water liggen. Het heeft lang geduurd voordat ik de oorzaak gevonden had. Dakraam afvooer, deurrubbers, raamrubbers waren allemaal oke. Met de tuinslang op de auto ben ik gaan kijken waar het nat werd en toen bleek achter de isolatie bij het voetenruim het water door de wand heen te komen? Toen ik erop drukte, drukte ik zo door de wand heen en kwam in een draagbalk terecht. Toen ik daar stoom op zette, kwam dit onder mijn accu er weer uit. Na dat ik de accu verwijderd heb, bleek onder de accu ook dat het daar behoorlijk verroest te zijn en ook daar prikte ik al snel een groot gat door het blik heen.Het water kwam vanaf het raam, liep niet mooi via de afvoer weg, maar via de accuruimte, door de draagbalk naar de binnenzijde bij het voetenruim passagierskant.
Oorzaak gevonden, nu nog mooi opknappen en weer dicht maken.
