hallo hier even een update de deurpanelen hoeven er niet af wil zo ook wel scheelt een hoop werk

Goed bedacht. Nog wel een vraagje:
Is het niet mogelijk om de strip er niet helemaal overheen te duwen, maar dat hij op het raamrubber rust? Dat is nl toch al zwart en lijkt het stuk dat je (nep)leer overlapt kleiner...

En heb je nog tips voor montage zonder demontage van de panelen?

hoi ron bij de voordeuren wil het zonder demontage van de panelen achterdeuren niet.
je moet vooral rustig blijven en de losse delen van de bekleding een beetje bijsnijden en dan de stripjes erop duwen beetje vaseline erop smeren helpt ook wel mee.en de strippen moeten er wel helemaal overheen anders dan komen ze tegen het raam aan gr peet

Jou oplossing ziet er erg goed uit.

Ik heb nog een alternatief, voordat je eventueel "jou" strips gaat monteren. De bekleding warm maken met een fohn, zodat je het eventueel iets kunt oprekken. Daarna lijmen, maar .........

Lijmen wil wel, maar je moet seconde lijm gebruiken. Daar heb ik goede ervaringen mee.
Dus geen constructie lijm of iets dergelijks. Dat is te flexibel en dan trekt toch de bekleding weer los.

Ervaring met deurpanelen met seconden lijm heb ik niet, echter is het misschien nuttig te vermelden dat er diverse soorten en kwaliteiten seconden lijm verkrijgbaar. Secondenlijm van Loctite is ontzettend goed. Ga dan wel voor de 406 veriant ipv de gebruikelijke 415. De 406 is specifiek voor kunstoffen en/of rubbers.

Ik heb met mijn W124 ook een omgekrulde deurrand. Helaas bij de Hornbach niet het juiste zwarte strip-materiaal gevonden. Ik zocht dat flexibele U profiel. Enigste in de richting was een hard plastic L profiel. Even doorzoeken dus nog!

Misschien moet je voor zo'n strip even bij een automaterialen zaak zien.

Ondertussen gevonden bij de praxis "posterlijst of posterrand" Nu nog even mooi dagje uitzoeken om te monteren

zijn de omgekrulde randen nou alleen bij de eerste serie interieurs of ook de latere series? heb nog niet echt opgemerkt dat dit bij mij het geval is zo

vooral in de eerste series later ook maar in veel mindere mate

Ik heb ook bij praxis die poster lijst of wat dan ook gevonden, bij gamma hadden ze et ook. je hebt van die doorzichtige en zwarte! bij Praxis waren ze goedkoper. Alleen ik heb geen föhn.

aan de rand van de deurpaneel onder(achter) is ook zo''n zwart plastic bij mij. daar kan die poster rand niet overheen. moet dat eraf of moet je zo goed verhitten dat poster lijst ook over dat hard plastic gaat?

Me neefje heeft het ook er opgezet. Maar moet er wel bij vermelden dat het best een pittig klus was. Maar met een haarfohn en een beetje vaseline toch nog gelukt.
