Hallo ,

ik bezit al 3 jaar een W124 E220 coupe met 124300 kms. sinds kort is het mij opgevallen dat het ergens water binnen sluipt bij harde regen of sneeuw. Dit schijnt ook een gekend probleem te zijn bij een W124 met een open dak .

Wat kan ik hier aan doen ? of wat raden jullie aan om te proberen .
ik dacht de rubbers aan mijn ramen dat ze goed sluiten ? alle 2 raam moteurs deden het plots niet meer. maar deze zijn al vervangen.
Ook heb ik bij mijn motorkap open gedaan en in de hoeken tegen het raam zie je kleine waterleidingen die heb ik al schoongemaakt alle blaren weg gedaan daar tussen?

Controleer eerst of het echt wel water is.
-- Deurrubbers?
-- Sluiten je ramen?

Lastig zo, via de digitale weg.
Eerst zoeken waar het vandaan komt denk ik.
Vaak vind je wel sporen.

Heb je misschien roest bij de a-stijlen van je voorruit? Bij mij zag je niets, totdat ik de sierstrip verwijderde...

Of gaten (rotte plekken) in je spatborden achter je voorwielen.

Op de hoeken van je opendakje zitten waterafvoeren. Die kan je doorprikken. Ik doe dat met een buitenkabel van een fiets-remkabel.

Had zelf ook een probleem met (soms redelijk veel) water in het interieur.
De vorige eigenaar had ooit een andere voorruit laten plaatsen - geen idee waar - en een deel van de kit was losgekomen met alle gevolgen vandien.
Intussen heeft die ruit een dikke steen opgevangen en zit er een nieuwe in, nu is het volledig droog zoals het hoort

Misschien moet ik die sierstrip toch eens eraf halen en eens dringend nakijken !
