Vraagje over de kleurcode van mn 230E:

Er is wat laswerk gedaan aan mn Benz en nu moet ik dus wat bijspuiten maar ik twijfel nu over de kleurcode.

Een paar forumleden dachten dat de kleur 822 Eibengrun mijn kleur moet zijn maar de kleurcode onder de motorkap is 254 nachtgrun.

Als ik beide codes invul op google kom ik eigenlijk ook niet uit

Je zou jou kleur kunnen laten scannen!
Winkels gespecialiseerd is verf en auto lakken hebben vaak een scanner!

254 is metallic lak, 822 niet.
Dus in die zin moet je daar al het verschil mee kunnen zien.
En als je auto nog nooit over gespoten is dan zou ik niet twijfelen aan het plaatje onder je motorkap.

Als je nog een Wagendatenkarte bij de auto hebt dan staat daar de kleurcode ook op.

En via EPC (dealer, zelf een abbo nemen of iemand die dit heeft laten kijken) kan je ook de Wagendatenkarte uitdraaien.
Het plaatje onder de motorkap geeft altijd de juiste kleurcode, tenzij je weet dat de auto ooit is gespoten. Dan heb je geen zekerheid natuurlijk. Dan i.d.d. de lak laten meten door een specialist.

De kleur metallic dus het moet wel 254 zijn zoals vermeld onder de motorkap!

Kan ik gaan spuiten

Ik heb hetzelfde probleem. Heb een foto gemaakt van het plaatje onder de motorkap, maar weet niet goed welke nu de kleurcode aangeeft. zie foto

Kan je typeplaatje nauwelijks lezen vanwege de erg kleine foto, maar ik zie "199" staan op de plek waar op mijn typeplaatje de kleur staat. Code 199 is "Blauschwartz". Bekleding-code lijkt *71 te zijn als ik het goed zie. In mijn bekledingen-brochure uit november 1985 is dat zwarte bekleding.

Klopt, 199 is zwart, de H erachter betekend dat het Herberts merk verf is. (G is Glasurit).
Interieur 371, is idd zwart.
(Als je hier op het forum bij How-To's en dan Wist je dat... Daar staan alle optiecodes, lakcodes en interieurcodes )

Ik heb ook een probleem met mijn kleurcode. Ik heb een spuitbus besteld om wat kleine stukjes bij te spuiten en de code is 172. Nu blijkt dat dit de code is van de sacco bretter platen. Ik vind geen andere code van de rest van de auto.

172 is antraciet (grijs) metallic. De leverancier van jouw spuitbus heeft een fout gemaakt. De kleur van de beplating is mosselgrau. De code hiervoor heeft 4 cijfers. Staat wel ergens op het forum. Er moet ook een kleuroverzicht zijn waar de kleurnummers van auto en bijbehorende beplating op staat. Ik heb het niet paraat, even zoeken of misschien heeft iemand anders die lijst. Succes

Dat denk ik ook. Mijn wagen is 172. AnthrazitGrau, en MusselGrau is de benaming van de sacco bretter panelen i.c.m. 172. Heb beide kleuren in spuitbus in de kast staan namelijk

Heel wat jaren na mijn bericht bij deze rubriek plaats ik weer een reactie. Mijn MB heb ik door omstandigheden 3 / 4 jaar in de stalling gehad staan en afgelopen najaar heb ik hem weer eruit gehaald om goed onder handen te nemen zodat ik in het voorjaar weer kan rijden.
Nu ben ik wederom aangekomen bij het bijwerken van de lak na laswerk wat gedaan is. Ik heb bij een professioneel lakbedrijf een spuitbus laten maken met de code 254. Ik heb deze lak erop gespoten en het kwam niet in de buurt wat de kleur moet zijn. Na wat onderzoek ben ik erachter gekomen dat de auto in jaren 90 volledig is overgespoten na hagelschade maar wel met dezelfde code. Vervolgens heb ik de kleur laten scannen en daar kwam ook 254/6254 uit.
Nu ben ik bij 123autolakken.nl uitgekomen en daar kan ik zowel 254 als 6254 bestellen. Bij 6254 staat ook een voorbeeld en dat lijkt de goede kleur te zijn.

Weet hier iemand of er een verschil tussen deze 2 codes? Ik heb het gevoel dat de 6254 de goede moet zijn hoewel er volgens mij geen verschil zou moeten zijn.

De 6 staat gewoon voor metallic.

Ik heb een keer spuitbussen laten vullen bij een professionele verfboer.
Deze wees mij er ook op dat kleuren verouderen, dus als je de kleur volgens het nummer van Benz laat maken, kun je nog steeds 'bedrogen' uitkomen.
Een heel gedoe dus om het perfect te krijgen.

Ik realiseer me dat de kleur niet 100% hetzelfde gaat zijn, maar het verschil is nu wel heel groot...
