Hallo,

overdag rijd ik graag met met de mistlampen vóór:

Ik kwam laatst een W124 tegen die ze aanhad, en het ziet er wel mooi uit.
Overdag kan ´t geen kwaad, hoewel het officieel niet mag geloof ik. (sorry!!I)

Na ongeveer een half uur rijden met deze aan, komt het oranje waarschuwingslampje aan op het dashboard.
Uiteraard kan ik ze beiden makkelijk controleren wanneer ik dicht achter een andere auto sta; en ik ben zelfs een paar keer uitgestapt--> ze werken allebei gewoon.
Wanneer ik de schakelaar dubbel naar achteren trek komt mijn rode mistlamp links achter ook gewoon aan; dus alles lijkt 100% goed te werken.

Heeft iemand deze zelfde ervaring?

Kans dat een van de mistlampen bijna versleten is. Het controlesysteem kijkt naar vermogen/weerstand. Wanneer lampen bijna versleten zijn, wil de weerstand van de lamp wel eens buiten spec gaan, wat het lampje doet oplichten. Je kunt proberen preventief de mistlampen te vervangen en kijken of het lampje uitgaat.

Ik moet dus even investeren in twee H3-tjes!
Misschien wacht ik wel tot die kaduuk gaat.

Ik vind het altijd hoogst irritant, mensen die overdag zonder enige reden met mistlampen aan rijden. Om stoer over te komen of zo? En wat zegt dat over je, dat je als volwassen man of vrouw nog steeds de drang voelt om stoer te doen in het verkeer met de mistlampen van je auto? Het zijn ook vaak te lullige autootjes zoals Kia Picanto's en dergelijke die met mistlampen aan rijden. Kortom, ik snap er werkelijk niets van...

Ik snap het ook niet, want als het zo mistig is dat ik geene hol meer kan zien, helpen die mistlampen ook niet meer.
Ik zet de station dan liever aan de kant, pak mijn slaapzak en zie de volgende dag dan wel weer.
Wat gelukkig zelden voorkomt.
Dus, indeed, waarom bij klare dag de mistlampen aan????
Ik ben benieuwd.
