Dat harde vet was het eerste wat mij ook inviel.
Ook wanneer nieuwe zekeringen het voor je fixen, zou ik met de barre reis die je voor de boeg hebt dat vet uit voorzorg sowieso vervangen.

**edit** De zekeringen vervangen (koperen exemplaren) en schuren van zekeringkastcontacten had je misschien al gedaan. Het lijkt me ook de moeite waard om startmotor en dynamo (koolborstels spanningsregelaar!) te (laten) testen. **edit**

Alvast veel plezier met je toffe reis!

Geprobeerd om de ruitenwisserarm te smeren, maar niks werkte. Gister op de sloop een andere gevonden, incusief motor en in zijn geheel vervangen. Alles werkt weer.

Helaas zag ik dat over de hele breedte van de voorruit, vrij laag, een enorme barst loopt. Met ook een aantal verdachte sterren in mn raam, moet ik er toch aan geloven.

Led lampjes geplaatst in instrumentenpaneel. Idd beter licht, kleur is erg goed. Beide prisma's waren fors gesmolten, heb stukken gesmolten plastic weg moeten knippen om de grotere leds te kunnen inpassen.

Helaas werkt mijn klok nu niet meer. Hoor wel een regelmatige zachte tik, wijzers doen niks.

Meteen maar nieuwe voorruit. Was doorgescheurd.

Ben benieuwd naar de reis, de 300D geeft je vast veel voldoening.

De extra hoogte was mss niet noodzakelijk deze editie, maar het kwam goed van pas af en toe. Hier hadden we net 1,5 uur een weg doorgeploegd die nog niet vrij gemaakt was van verse sneeuw. Daar kwam de aangepaste hoogte goed van pas. De Renaultjes van mijn broers hadden het hier juist zwaarder door hun gemonteerde bodemplaten, waardoor ze juist lager kwamen. Toen de weg echt onbegaanbaar werd, moesten we weer 1,5 terug (gelukkig over onze eigen sporen). Groene F6 had echter wel een kokende motor en geen benzine meer. Geen probleem voor de W124 natuurlijk Moet wel zeggen dat van alle auto's die mee waren die R4'tjes wel het makkelijkst overal dooreen kwamen, geniale dingetjes ook.

Inmiddels de plannenmakerij weer opgestart, februari 2023 naar Noorwegen. Spijkerbanden op 16" 8 lochs in de pocket.

Nemen ze geen ruimte in de auto en zijn ze altijd voorhanden.

Geen rare gedachte. Nadeel is wel dat we extra op de boot moeten betalen, vanwege de lengte.

Gister teruggekomen met de Benz uit Noorwegen. Weer een week in de kou. Na een nacht -30 was het wel over en uit. Afgesleept naar een truck service station: daar hadden ze de juiste booster om de boel weer aan te zwengelen. Was weer episch avontuur.
