Beste Benzbroeders,

Sinds een week ben ik trotse eigenaar van een Mercedes 200E uit 1993.
Er zijn wat kleine mankementen en deze probeer ik eerst zelf te verhelpen.

De deur aan de passagierszijde hangt erg af en daarom sluit deze slecht.
Ik moet hem als het ware optillen tijdens het sluiten...

In vorige topics zag ik dat meer mensen hier problemen mee hadden en dat de scharnieren bijgesteld moeten worden.
Het is mij echter niet duidelijk of ik de scharnieren die aan de carrosserie van de auto zitten moet verstellen of
de scharnieren die aan de deuren vastzitten.
Naar mijn idee de scharnieren die aan de carrosserie zitten want als ik kijk naar de rondjes in het scharnier zie ik
aan de lak dat deze verschoven zijn.

In de scharnieren zit geen speling. De auto gaat duidelijk op en neer.
De sponingen zien er ook prima uit, de vrije ruimte is ongeveer gelijk overal als de deur dicht is.
Als je van achter de auto kijkt zou de deur wel iets naar buiten mogen.
Scharnieren die aan de deur zitten lijken niet losgehaald. Zie nergens iets van verschuiving.
Waarschijnlijk dan toch de scharnieren met rondjes eerst afstellen??

Op de 2e foto zie je dat het onderste scharnier carrosseriezijde naar beneden is verschoven.
Op de 1e foto denk ik te zien dat het deurrubber niet goed meer in de zitting zit, dan sluit de deur slecht.
Ik weet niet welke van de twee oorzaak of gevolg is en zou eerst checken of het deurrubber overal goed zit.

Als de bovenste scharnier van een voordeur te laag zit, zit niet automatisch onderste ook te laag.
Beide voordeurscharnieren hebben een afstelspeling aan carrosserie- en deurzijde.
Op beide foto's zie je een behoorlijk stuk wat groen van kleur is, weet je waarom dat is?

Het heeft wat vertraging opgelopen maar zojuist heb ik me gewaagd aan de deuren.
Ik heb beide scharnieren losgedraaid en gezorgd dat de gaten in de scharnieren weer goed overeenkomen met
de lak. De deur sluit nu weer prima!
Hij zou nog een heel klein beetje bijgesteld mogen worden maar voor nu laat ik het zo.

Als tip: allereerst had ik de scharnieren maar heel licht losgedraaid, de deur ging al schuiven maar het was erg moeilijk om de deur met kracht weer te verschuiven naar de juiste positie. Toen ik de scharnieren een stukje verder losdraaide kon ik de deur veel beter verschuiven. Mijn zus heeft wel even geholpen met vastdraaien terwijl ik de deur vasthield
