Ben van plan deze aan te schaffen maar de verkoper heeft er alleen een set 'korte wielbouten' bij;

Ik zoek al een tijdje maar kom er niet uit. Kan ik deze velgen op mijn 200TE '90 vastzetten met de standaard bouten waarmee mijn stalen velgen nu vastzitten? Zijn de 'korte wielbouten' enkel minder mooi of onveilig?

Ik heb ze bij deze jongens gekocht in Delft.

Als het originelen zijn heb je inderdaad lange bouten nodig .
Mijn zomerbanden zijn immitatie putdeksels en daar zitten echter wel gewoon de korte bouten in, de langen zijn zelfs te lang en lopen aan.
Je hebt bij originelen echt de langen nodig, de korten komen er bijna niet eens door heen, laat staan dat ze enig houvast kunnen bieden. Ik kwam hier ook achter nadat ik winterbanden had gekocht.

Die bouten passen denk ik wel maar zijn niet lang genoeg. Ze zijn dus minder mooi. €45,- is erg aan de prijs. Ik heb voor originele set 70mm lange bouten op een Duits W124-forum €40,- betaald. Ook op Ebay kom je de originele bouten nog wel tegen. Vraag ook even wat het onderdeelnummer van die velgen is. Zie ook mijn topic over dit onderwerp: post71901.html?hilit=zomerrubber#p71901

Die bouten kunnen prima en zijn lang genoeg.
Het lijkt alleen iets minder mooi omdat je de koppen van de bouten bijna niet ziet uitsteken uit de velgen.
Ik heb mijnen (vergelijkbaar met TE taxiteile) voor 30 euro van MP. De originelen zijn bijna niet te vinden voor een normaal bedrag.

Fijn dat er mensen zijn die dat zo kunnen zien.
Dan is het dus onbekend of er korten of langen in moeten. Bij mijn Melber imitatie moeten korten maar er zijn volgens mij ook imitaties waar langeren in moeten. Ik gok dat hier korten in zitten maar garanderen kan ik niets, gewoon uitproberen of de korte bouten genoeg uitsteken.

én imitatie heeft meestal conische bouten, origineel MB (en AMG) bol-conisch.....

vraag de eigenaar welke bouten hij gebruikte. Die zullen voor jou passen!

het is niet zo moeilijk:

Als je het origineel wil dan heb je voor jouw wagen putdeksel velgen (ook wel 15-gaats velgen genoemd) nodig met onderdeelnummer 1244010802. Deze hebben dan de maat 6½ J x 15 ET 48.

De originele wielbouten (zie foto's) die daar bij horen hebben de volgende afmetingen:

totale lengte: 70 mm

lengte zonder kop: 40 mm
schroefdraadlengte: 20 mm
schroefdraad: M12 x 1,5.
sleutelwijdte: 17 mm

Andere bouten (korter met dezelfde specificaties) passen ook maar vullen het gat van je velgen gewoon minder mooi. Daar moet je niet te veel geld voor betalen vind ik.

Dit kan betekenen dat:
-Er lange bouten in moeten.
-Er korte bol conische bouten in moeten
-Er korte conische bouten in moeten.

Dus zo moeilijk is het wel.

Om de verwarring nog wat groter te maken:
Er zijn twee soorten originele 15 gaats velgen.

Dit lijken bouten voor de W126 (ET 25).
De onderkant is 45mm (40 + 5) en de bovenkant 40mm (totaal 85mm).

Mooi draadje om te bewaren
Gisteren een setje originele MB putdeksels gekocht met bijpasssende wielbouten. Ze zijn een 6 cm lang en conisch. Gaten worden mooi gevuld.
Blij mee!
Ook een nieuwe ster en automaatbakolie vervangen, het wordt weer wat met de Benz.

Lengte onder de kop is goed.
De kop zelf zou wat langer mogen zijn.
Ze vallen nu wat dieper in de velg.
Maar houden de velg wel op z'n plek...
