Hallo W124 rijders, om wat bedrading voor besturing en controle van de cabine naar de motorruimte te transporten zoek in een geschikte weg.
Misschien hebben enkele van jullie daar al eens op gestudeerd, ik wil straks eventueel manueel mijn stationair toerental kunnen besturen dus een draadje of wat is genoeg, het zijn zeker geen "bossen" draden (althans in het begin niet) :lol:
De draden mogen wat mij betreft ook in de hoeken van het motor compartiment uitkomen, bv. daar waar de zekeringen bak zit of eventueel aan de andere kant waar de accu zit.
Hoor graag iemands ervaring daarmee dus.

Dat is gelukkig heel makkelijk bij een W124.
Haal het deksel van de zekeringen kast eraf en ook het deksel ernaast tegen het schutbord. Dat gaat het makkelijkst als je de motorkap haaks openzet anders kun je niet zo makkelijk een kruiskop schroevendraaier gebruiken.

Als je nu langs de relais elementen naar beneden kijkt kom je zo in de auto binnen. Met een stukje ijzerdraad kun je makkelijk een kabeltje trekken. Dan heb je aan de zijkant van de zekeringendoos diverse waterdichte doorvoeringen, daarvan kun je er eentje doorprikken om een kabeltje door de rijgen.

PS. het bijgaande plaatje is van een andere Mercedes (W126) die heeft 1 deksel, maar het principe is hetzelfde.

Top Marius en John,, deze auto is mij op het lijf geschreven, wat die doorgangen betreft in ieder geval :lol:
Met mijn andere oldtimers was dat wel eens lastiger, is ook een vreemde hobby van mij hoor om de hele electronia op de schob te gooien :hand:

NB: zo te zien aan die laatste foto ben ik wat dat betreft ook de enige die de leidingen liefst in eigen hand houden.
Documentatie goed bijhouden, dat komt er dan wel op aan.

Achter de accu zit een rubber. Helemaal in de hoek. Daar komen reeds een paar draden uit. Er zitten ook een paar extra doorvoermogelijkheden, maar die zijn in dat rubber nog afgedopt. Als je met een Stanlymes de bovenkand van die dopjes afsnijd heb je mogelijkheden om aan de andere kant draden door het schutboard te voeren. Handig voor voedingskabels van versterkers oid. Je ziet het rubber ook zitten als je naar boven in de voetenruimte bij de bijrijder kijkt.

Thanks Bob, dat geeft in elk geval mogelijkheden genoeg!
Je moet met dit soort auto's ook niet te snel te water raken begrijp ik want je houd het niet lang droog :shock:
