Hallo,

iemand hier die wat handigheidjes weet om het motorcompartiment schoon te krijgen? Mijn blok is nogal vet en vuil en ik zou het graag een keer goed schoonmaken. Zomaar de Karcher erop zetten lijkt me niet echt verstandig.

Hogedruk kan best, wel met draaiende motor en na schoonmaken een flink stuk rijden
(maar dat is geen straf).
Als het blok warm is drogen alle stekkerverbindingen weer mooi op.

Eerst met remreiniger blok inspuiten.
Zo heb ik het altijd gedaan bij mijn vorige auto's.
Dat waren auto's met nog veel meer stekker verbindingen dan mijn 200D.

Ik zou het blok zelf niet met draaiende motor afspuiten.
Je uitlaatspruitstuk is erg scheurgevoelig dus om over een heet spuitstuk een plens koud water te spuiten lijkt mij niet verstandig.

zou niet aanraden met hoge druk te doen maar das persoonlijk.

Remmenreiniger is goedkoop en ontvet als een gek

En al die stekkertjes/contacten beetje afbinden met zakjes scheelt ook wel.Maar denk dat benzine motoren er gevoeliger voor zijn dan diesels

Ik ga voorlopig aan de slag met remmenreiniger. Foto's voor en na volgen binnenkort wel.
