Hallo Jonas, ik kan je helaas niet helpen en sorry dat ik inhaak op je topic maar ik zie dat je een redelijk met mijn S124 vergelijkbare auto hebt. Het is een wilde gok maar je weet toevallig niet welke veren er voor onder zitten bij jou? Ik vermoed dat behalve de lengte van de veer vooral de dikte van de spiraal een rol speelt hoe ver die inzakt.

Hey Miko,

Bij mijn S124 heb ik het zelfde probleem, er zijn nieuwe draagarmen en veren gemonteerd en de auto is echt veel te hoog. Op mijn W124 E200 heb ik gewoon Sachs veren die volgens het puntensysteem zijn besteld, al vond ik ze in het begin nog iets te hoog. Na 2 jaar zijn ze al wel ingezakt.
Zie hieronder de E220 naast een Sportline staan, het lijkt wel een off-roader.

Dank je Jonas!

Zoals die Sportline staat is eigenlijk het mooist maar ik vermoed dat 'gewone' 124's inderdaad voor onze smaak origineel te hoog stonden. Ik vind jouw auto niet te hoog, maar hij lijkt wel wat door te hangen achter? Medeforummer verkuilm heeft zijn veren ooit ingekort, als niets anders helpt ga ik dat proberen. Dit is mijn eerste Benz en ik sta echt te kijken hoe nauw alles komt - ik vertrouw er ook niet meer op dat MB of een MB specialist wel de goede veren en rubbers rondom kan leveren, over de kosten daarvan te zwijgen. Ik kreeg een offerte van MB om veren voor en achter en rubbers vervangen voor meer dan € 1.400. Voor dat geld kan ik nog even experimenteren.
