Beste mensen,

De laatste keer dat ik met mijn 124 reed, wilde ik na een stop de auto weer starten, maar de contactsleutel wilde helemaal niet draaien. Dus sleutel in contactslot gestoken, naar rechts willen draaien en niet kunnen draaien. Het leek wel of het slot vast zat. Een paar keer de sleutel er uit gehaald, en steeds niet kunnen draaien.
Na de zoveelste poging werkte het ineens weer en kon ik starten.

Iemand bekend met dit fenomeen? Is dit mss het begin van het einde van mijn contactslot? Zo ja, welk onderdeel is dan precies de boosdoener?

Het kan ook je sleutel zijn! Probeer het anders eens met je reservesleutel mocht dit vaker voorkomen, of laat even een frisse kopie maken. Is goedkoper als het slot, en meestal is de sleutel eerder versleten.

Stond het stuur niet toevallig in het stuurslot? Dan kun je de sleutel ook bijna niet draaien als je het stuur niet verdraait.

Kan stuurslot zijn. Maar als hij lastig gaat kan je toch het beste een nieuwe cilinder kopen wij de dealer. Je zit flink met de gebakken peren als hij vast zit!!!

verder van huis.
een originele kun je op het chassis nr bestellen duurt ong 10 dagen
en kost rond de 80 Euro. een immitatie kost rond de 30 Euro.
de oorzaak dat de sloten stuk gaan ,een grote sleutel bos aan de sleutel.
de sleutel gaat in het slot hangen,kunnen ze slecht tegen.

Niet afwachten tot het nieuwe cylindertje er is maar meteen vervangen door een leen cylinder.
Dit is echt spelen met vuur in een vuurwerkopslag.
Blokkeert de boel echt dan staat je een flinke slooppartij te wachten met als bonus een compleet
nieuw slot. 300-400 euro is niks voor die ingreep.

Ik kan dit beamen, heb t jaren geleden met m'n 190 gehad.
Ik ben 2 dagen bezig geweest om m alsnog een stand te kunnen draaien om het slot te vervangen.

Niet mee blijven rijden.
Als ie dadelijk niet te verdraaien meer is wordt het een dure en arbeids intensieve reparatie.
Nu is ie met sleutel en 2 pinnen te verwijderen.

Het was toen niet het stuurslot, dat weet ik nog.
En bij mij hangen er geen andere sleutels aan, enkel een MB sleutelhanger. Maar of de vorige eigenaar er een grote bos sleutels aan heeft gehangen weet ik niet. De sleutel zelf denk ik dat OK is (ziet er iig goed uit), de auto heeft ± 100.000 gelopen.

Ik zal snel actie ondernemen.
Sinds de vorige rit (herfst vorig jaar) heb ik niet meer gereden en de auto in de schorsing gedaan.
Binnenkort wil ik die weer van "stal" gaan halen, maar ga toch eerst maar het cylinderslot vervangen dan.

Ik zal in het weekend eens in de how-to gaan kijken, kan me herinneren dat er iets staat over stuurslot vervangen.

bij de MB-dealer een nieuwe cilinder + sleutel (!) kopen

Heb ik ook eens gehad, was versleten slot, 58 euro jaar of twee/drie geleden bij de dealer in Meppel

Als dat bij jou ook het geval is, zou ik je adviseren -als je nog de eerste slotserie hebt- niet een sleutel erbij te kopen, die stalen sleutel kostte mij n.l. 50 euro, en heb ik nooit gebruikt, was weggegooid geld. Ik had de originele slotserie dus, bij twijfel, de sleutel kan je later ook nog bijbestellen.

Direct en zo snel mogelijk je cilinder vervangen!

Dat gaat zo:
De onderstaande tool is zelf te maken. Ik heb 2 fietsspaken op maat gemaakt. Denk er om dat de schuine hoekjes er wel aan zitten anders lukt het niet.
Dan kun je als je met veel piellen, drukken en draaien (dat kan wel een 30 minuten proberen) in de acc. stand komen. Dan druk je dit gemaakte tool in de uitsparingen. Dan kan je de cylinder er zo uittrekken

Ben wel een keer of 6 naar de slijpbank gelopen voordat ik de spaken op de juiste maat had. Ze gaan er wel een cm of 6 in.

Het speciale stukje gereedschap kan ik waarschijnlijk wel van de garage lenen waar ik kom voor APK en grote beurten en zo.
Ik kreeg ook de tip om de normaal gebruikte sleutel, en de reserve sleutel eens naast elkaar te leggen. Als de meest gebruikte sleutel afgeronde hoeken heeft zou dat ook de boosdoener geweest kunnen zijn, hoor ik van de garage.
Dus mocht de sleutel erg afgesleten zijn, dan gooi ik het daarop en ga ik de andere sleutel gebruiken.
Als de sleutel er goed of redelijk goed uit ziet, ga ik meteen naar de dealer om een origineel nieuwe cylinder te bestellen waar de huidige sleutels op passen.
Bedankt, vanavond of morgen ga ik eens kijken.

En voor alle duidelijkheid, het voorval heeft zich maar één keer voorgedaan. Daarna heb ik nog enkele keren gestopt, gestart etc en dat is verder goed gegaan. Het slot gaat ook niet stroef of zo. Maar de boodschap is duidelijk, even heel kritisch naar de sleutels kijken.

Ik heb een tip die werkt als je de sleutel ECHT niet meer om kunt draaien. Heb het zelf meegemaakt, en dit werkt echt.
Gewoon tegen de onderkant van het slot een vlakschuurmachine zetten met de zijkant van het schuuropvervlak. Dan terwijl je de schuurmachine inschakelt de sleutel omdraaien. Dan lukt het meteen.
Ik ben destijds meteen naar de Dealer gereden voor een nieuw slotje, en meteen gewisseld. Dit scheelt een hoop gehak en gedoe!

Ik heb als uithalers twee stukken afgeslepen draad van een rol gebruikt wat ik had liggen, gaat er makkelijk uit.

Dat is het eerste lipje. Slot blijft nu nog hangen achter de zwarte metalen kap. Tooltje verder doordrukken en dan komt de zwarte kap En het contactslot los. (zie tekening)

Ik heb in het weekend iets dergelijks meegemaakt.
Het ene moment kon ik gewoon draaien en starten, zaterdag avond wilde ik weg naar een verjaardag, maar ho maar. De sleutel kon maar beperkt draaien. Stand 1 en 2 (voorgloeien) ging wel, maar stand 0 (stuurslot) en stand 3 (starten) ging niet. Ook ging de sleutel met geen mogelijkheid uit het contactslot !
Maandag met de tool (zoals afgebeeld hierboven) het slot eruit gehaald. Ik heb snel een nieuw niet al te duur cilinderslot besteld - ik moet toch wel kunnen rijden. Helaas heb ik dan 2 verschillende sleutels nodig, voor contactslot 1 en voor de rest de originele.
Wat kost het een nieuw cilinderslot passend op de originele sleutels ?

Onlangs ergens gelezen, ik weet even niet meer waar, dat een nieuw contactslot, behorend bij jou sleutel, via de dealer rond de 8 à 9 tientjes kost.

Kun je rijden zonder cilinder in het contact ? Met een schroevendraaier erin kan ik alles doen. Maar afgezien dat het diefstal gevoelig is, voor mij de belangrijke vraag: kan het onder het rijden in stuurslot komen ??? Dat zou erg gevaarlijk zijn.
