Wie kan mij helpen. Het mechanisme van mijn tripteller om op nul te zetten is kapot. Kan ik de 2 snelheidsmeters van op de foto gewoon uitwisselen? Ze hebben 1nummer verschillend in de partnummer.

Helaas geen foto maar ook de onderdeelnummers op de wijzerplaat zeggen niet alles.
Als je geluk hebt zit er op de achterzijde nog een stickertje met een k nummer, dat is belangrijk en moet hetzelfde zijn.
Ook al zijn de maximale snelheid en onderdeel nummers gelijk wil het nog niet zeggen dat je ze uit kan wisselen. Staan er op dezelfde plek de schakelmomenten, dus de I, II, III (en IIII eventueel)?
Zoja dan heb je al meer kans dat het klopt.
Je kan natuurlijk ook even met de accuboormachine en een klein torx bitje kijken hoe "hard" elk rijdt, is dit gelijk bij "volgas" van de accuboormachine dan kan je ze klakkeloos overzetten.

Ook hier op het forum is genoeg te vinden als je op kilometerteller zoekt trouwens

Er zijn nieuwe tandwieltjes te verkrijgen op internet voor dit probleem.
Als je voor een 2de handse teller gaat kan je snel weer met het probleem zitten en het komt vooral door te nullen van de dag teller terwijl je al rijdt.
Heb eventueel nog foto's van me S coupé teller met het gebroken/gerepareerd tandwieltje dag teller.

@Bram het zou inderdaad leuk zijn een how-To te maken alleen de foto's die ik heb zijn van een ander model dan gebruikt in de W124.

Het is even goed kijken welke tandwielen er gebruikt zijn.

Is dat "0 zet" mechanisme dan niet te repareren, want de rest werkt nog wel begrijp ik, hij telt nog wel?

Bij mij deed de totale km het ook niet meer of dat bij de W124 ook zo is kan ik niet zeggen.
Het is niet het mechanisme wat faalt maar de tandwielen vergaan min of meer net zoiets als de draadbomen.

Een W124 heeft niet de tandwielen zoals afgebeeld Ebay plaatje, dat is meer voor een W126 die een electrische aandrijving van de kilometerteller heeft, die heeft namelijk die 2 grote kunststof tandwielen en een klein kunststof tandwiel.
Een mechanisch aangedreven W124 kilometerteller heeft 1 aluminium tandwiel en 2 kunststof tandwielen.
Deze zijn dikker als de W126 exemplaren en zullen minder snel kapot gaan. Het kleine tandwieltje wat tussen het aluminium en het even grote kunststof tandwieltje zit kan misschien wel kapot maar daar heb ik tot nu toe nog niemand over gehoord op internet.

Het euvel bij de mechanische W124 tellers is het eruit lopen van het asje van de totaal telling of het afbreken van het hefboompje om de dagtelling te nullen. Vermoed dat dit laatste bij de topicstarter het geval is.
Dit armpje kun je gewoon over zetten van een goed exemplaar.

(Ik schrijf steeds mechanische W124 teller, als ik me niet vergis had een 500E/E500 ook een electrisch aangedreven teller, misschien een 400 of 420 ook wel)

Wat Gombal hier schrijft klopt helemaal. Je kunt de W124 teller altijd wel fiksen, MAAR het is wel een klusje voor iemand met geduld

Even reageren hier. Ik dacht dat het topic niet geplaatst was, dat is de reden dat er geen foto bij staat.
Mijn teller heeft dus 2 problemen, 1 hij telt geen km meer, maar dat probleem heb ik gevonden en opgelost, mijn sedan heft ooit hetzelfde probleem gehad. Het 2de probleem is dat het nulsysteem niet meer werkt. Ik zal proberen het probleem te beschrijven want een duidelijke foot krijg ik niet gemaakt.
De grote aluminium hefboom van het nulsysteem duwt tegen een kleiner aluminium hefboom die op zijn beurt tegen een stalen as duwt die dan door een zwart plastieke houder zit, het asje zit normaal op 2 plaatsen door het zwart plastiek. 1 van die "doorvoergaatjes" is dus afgebroken waardoor het stalen asje niet meer op zijn plaats bijft zitten.
Ik hoop dat het een beetje duidelijk is.

Het kunststof gedeelte waar je armpje aan vast zit is ook het deel waar je cijferrollen inzitten.
Snelste en makkelijkste manier is een identieke kilometerteller op de kop te tikken (let op je k nummer, heb hierover pas nog een topic gezet in de How-To's. Een 300D automaat zal 687,5 zijn. Is het voor de combi dan ligt het eraan of dit een handbak of automaat is en of het een atmosferische of turbo motor is, allemaal een differentieel met andere overbrengingsverhoudingen.)
Als je van uitdagingen houdt kun je natuurlijk ook alleen het kunststof deel wisselen maar dat betekent dat je ook de cijferrollen en het telmechanisme helemaal uit elkaar moet halen. Niet onmogelijk maar de moeilijkheids factor is wel exponentieel hoger als het simpelweg de hele teller wisselen

Ha ha,, ja, de moeilijkheidsfactor loopt langs een logaritmische schaal, kies eieren voor je geld, heb ik ook gedaan

Ik heb ook is gekeken met wat ik nog had liggen, maar daarvan gaat het hele kiepmechanisme ook vrij zwaar.
Ik denk dat dat veertje vlak naast dat gebroken steuntje te zwaar is, want bij een ander mechnisme gaat het een stuk lichter.
In elk geval lijmen lijkt mij niet gaan werken.

Ik zou een klein bolkop schroefje aan de bovenzijde van het asje erin zetten. Op zo'n manier dat het asje weer netjes op zijn plek zit en niet naar boven kan door het schroefdraadgedeelte van het schroefje en niet naar voren omdat de kop van het schroefje op het asje duwt.
En eerst een gaatje voorboren op de maat van de binnendiameter van het schroefje en indien nodig, nadat je het schroefje zover als het kan zonder aan de binnenzijde iets te slopen er een keer ingeschroefd hebt, het schroefje inkorten.

En dan zou ik op mijn gemak een andere teller gaan zoeken en die er pas inzetten als de truuk met de schroef faalt, als die tenminste faalt.

Andere optie is het uiteinde van het veertje met een schroefje aan de kunststof behuizing vast zetten, weet alleen niet of je daar een beetje bij kan. De andere truuk zoals hierboven beschreven kan ook ver aan het uiteinde van het asje waar je wat makkelijker bij kan.

(Ga er van uit dat het asje aan de andere kant nog wel netjes vastzit, anders gaat de vlieger niet op)

Het zou een voorlopige oplossing kunnen zijn met het schroefje Gombal, maar ik heb er voorlopig een andere teller in gezet dus ik wacht gewoon de teller af van John.
