Nog een vraagje; bepaald de temperatuursensor waar ik nu mee bezig ben ook of ik de auto moet stop zetten ivm oververhitting?? Of is dat die andere sensor met 2 polen?

Volgens mij is het niet zo simpel als ik dacht.
Ik heb nog even goed gekeken hoe de kabel van de temp sensor loopt. schema erbij en ik zag dat er nog een stekker ergens zit, voordat de kabel naar de meter gaat.

B13 is de sensor en X26 de stekker.

Ik kom dan uit achter de accu, bij meerdere stekkers.

De kabel er naar toe ziet er goed uit. Kan me niet voorstellen dat daar ergens een draadbreuk zit. Nog wel een hazelnoot gevonden.
En hoe het vanaf die stekker gaat. geen idee. en of daar een kabelbreuk kan zitten........

En dan nog iets; kan ik de snelheidsmeter, km teller unit wel gewoon uitwisselen van de 300D en 300E?
de d gaat tot 220 km per uur, de e tot 240 km per uur, maar zo hard zal ik nooit gaan...

deze unit bedoel ik dus. is maar 4 schroefjes.

Kan maar een kilometerteller is afgestemd op het differentieel.
Ik zie dat je auto uit 1989 komt.
Een 300E met automaat uit 1989 van voor september heeft een differentieel met een verhouding van 3,46.
Een 300D met handbak heeft dit ook dus die kun je uitwisselen.
Is jouw auto van na september 1989 dan heb je een differentieel met een verhouding van 3,07.
In dat geval is een exemplaar van en 250D met automaat een match, gaat echter maar tot 200.

Waar het omgaat is het K getal van de teller, dit staat met een stickertje achterop de teller. (Maar na zoveel jaar kan dit al verdwenen zijn)
Als dit gelijk is dan zijn de tellers zonder afwijkingen uitwisselbaar. Wijken de K getallen af dan gaat de teller niet de juiste snelheid aangeven.

Die diesel was ook een automaat. uit 1986.

maar mijn K's zijn helaas niet gelijk:
300E = K 720
300D = K 825

En als het K getal niet gelijk is, kunnen de km teller en dagteller zeker ook niet overgezet worden??

Dan ben ik op zoek naar een km/h unit met K720 !

Dat uitwisselen heb ik geprobeerd en om dat te doen moest de wijzer eraf......
Dat is me niet gelukt. Vriend zei begin er niet aan.
Op dit forum ook veel mislukkingen hierover gelezen!

Heb eigenlijk nooit last gehad met wijzers verwijderen.
Til bij de kilometerteller eerst de naald over het stoppinnetje heen en markeer waar hij dan uitkomt. (Origineel zit er reeds een markering aan de rand van de tellerplaat maar na zoveel jaar kan je veertje wat slap geworden zijn dus komt hij misschien op een andere plek uit)
Op die manier zet je hem straks weer terug zoals hij zat en geeft hij meteen weer de juiste snelheid aan.
Sloop een houten knijper en leg beide helften recht naast het zwarte rondje.
Sloop nog een houten knijper en steek beide dunne uiteindes onder het zwarte rondje.
Doe dit op zo'n manier dat je aan beide zijdes de liggende helften van de andere knijper zo dicht mogelijk bij het zwarte rondje kan leggen.
Beweeg nu voorzichtig de beide dikke uiteindes van de eronder gestoken knijper aan beide zijdes gelijkmatig naar beneden.
De naald zal nu gewoon van het asje afkomen en je sloopt op die manier niets. (Geen beschadigingen op je tellerplaat, geen krom asje enz)
Mocht het zwarte ronde van de wijzer afkomen duw hem dan aan 1 kant met je nagel voorzichtig iets naar binnen, je maakt een plat kantje.
Nu kun je het zwarte rondje er weer opklimmen, begin net het platte kantje en hij zit gewoon weer netjes vast.
Beste is om dat te doen als je de wijzer weer terug gemonteerd hebt en als hij op de juiste positie zit.

Zo kun je alle wijzertjes zonder schade verwijderen.

Nou, ik kwam er niet uit en het ging me allemaal te veel tijd kosten.
Auto staat nu in Uden, bij Van den Brand. (iemand ervaring mee?)
Hopelijk valt het mee...
