Thermostaat goed gemonteerd? Hij kan er op 2 manieren in.

Heb er van het weekend maar weer een andere ingestopt.
Nu wordt hij wel warmer (85 graden thermostaat) Maar op de teller maar 70 graden.
Ik ga ook de temp voeler maar even wisselen.
Ik las ergens op een duits forum dat iemand hetzelfde had, max 70 graden.
Hij had de weerstand van de tempvoeler gemeten en die was bij hem bij warme motor 180 ohm.
Ik heb hetzelfde gedaan bij mij is hij 140 ohm.
Nadat de beste man de temp voeler vernieuwd had was het probleem opgelost.
De waardes die de voeler moet hebben zijn bij 20 graden iets van 2,5 k-ohm en bij 80 graden 370 ohm.
Nu zou je denken dan moet hij met 140 ohm 100 a 120 graden aangeven maar dat is dus niet het geval... ook bij die Duitse meneer niet. Maar na wisselen was voor hem het probleem opgelost. Ik ben benieuwd.

De thermostaat past er bij mij maar op een manier in hoor. Anders ligt hij niet lekker en sluit hij helemaal niet en pist de koelvloestof er zo uit denk ik...

Ik mis trouwens ook de onderbeplating onder de versnellingsbak (onder de motor zit hij wel)
Misschien dat dat nog mee speelt...

Nou sinds vandaag kan ik wat meer met de auto rijden.
Heb nu een parkeerpas voor op het werk dus kan een beetje meters maken.
Het warm worden in de auto gaat beter met de instelling op 18 graden (draaiwiel)
Als ik hem op max zet wordt hij flauwtjes warm, draai ik naar 18 graden (net voor minimaal) wordt de kachel LOEI-heet... Dat duidt dus op een defecte print bij de selector wieltjes toch?...
Lijkt er dus op dat de auto wel op temp komt. Vandaag de dealer gebeld. Maar die moest even een rondje bellen welke tempvoeler er nou in de Mercedes hoorde. Kon hij zo snel niet op het chassisnummer terug vinden.
Ik zal ook nog ff in het wph zoeken...
Dus er zit schot in maar het is nog niet opgelost...

Nou dat lijkt idd op meerdere problemen en het lijkt erop dat je koelcircuit nu ok is incl thermostaat. Toevallig die thermometer nog gebruikt en gemeten welke waarden je nu meet aan het blok ?

Hoe het kachelcircuit of de (aan)sturing werkt kan ik je helaas niet mee helpen maar kloppen doet het niet, bij stand 18gr goed warm en op de heetste stand lauw..
Persoonlijk zou ik eerst uitzoeken hoe deze temp instelling werkt, is de draaiknop een thermostaat, zo ja hoe werkt deze regeling, hoe wordt de kachelkraan aangestuurd, is er een verband met de temp sensor in het blok ? Lijkt een elektrisch probleem.
Heb je hetzelfde effect aan beiden zijden dus bestuurder en bijrijder kan ook een eenvoudige analyse zijn waarmee je een waarschijnlijk probleen uitsluit > ik doel op de temperatuur bediening (draaiknoppen).

ik zou er geen zorgen over maken, ik heb ook een 300D en die wordt ook niet warmer dan 60 graden en alles is in orde bij mij dat komt door de kou. Als je de auto warmer wilt hebben, moet je een kartonnetje voor binnen in de grille plaatsen. Dat heb ik ook gedaan en dat werkt. Na het winter zul je zien dat je temperatuur weer normaal wordt, dat kom omdat een diesel warmte nodig heeft en het is een grote moter. Ik zou me er over geen zorgen maken.

Vandaag eindelijk eraan toegekomen om een temp voeler te scoren bij de Benz dealer.
Van het weekend maar eens monteren, dan zullen we zien of de aanduiding klopt...
Nu nog even zoeken naar een kachelprintplaat. of uitzoeken of deze te fixen is...
Lijkt me een mooie zondagse besteding... (2e kerstdag)
En anders wordt het misschien wel een stukje karton (net als vroeger) want dan heb ik toch echt alle denkbare wel gedaan... (temperatuur technisch dan)

Zijn er niet meer van die mooie covers voor op je motorkap in de winter. Volgens mij ook voor(tegen) steenslag bedoeld. Het ziet er een beetje raar uit maar ik vind het wel wat charme hebben.

Heb ik het verkeerd begrepen, omdat je het over steenslag had dacht ik aan zo'n leren ding aan de voorzijde van je motorkap en dat is weer een heel ander onderwerp, sorry :oops:

Daar dacht ik ook aan, maar was in de veronderstelling dat deze dus ook ter afdekking van de grille was, en dan ivm koude lucht. Of vergis ik me nou?

Wel apart, dat ding is bedoeld om de auto mooi te houden.

Maar even on topic weer: Ik zat te denken onderweg naar huis, heb je wel de juiste radiateur erin? Ik ben geen expert maar het koelwater systeem is vrij simpel. En het kan nooit iets zo moeilijks zijn.

Als de radiateur groter is dan standaard misschien dat ie bij opengaan van de thermostaat te veel koude water doorlaat.
